i love it!! my friends drive cattle through there to bishop every year. miles of cows. i absolutely love it out there. the Sierras are part of my soul. let's not forget the has $5 hot showers for non guests as well and one block away is the "wash house" to do your laundry.
I hadn't come across your videos before (and why now? such are the mysteries of the RUclips algorithms), but this one was delightful, and I look forward to watching more of them. The timing and composition were well done, and you succeeded in showing me places in Owens Valley I hadn't known anything about, though I had been through the area many times. I look forward to your returning and to watching "Owens Valley: The Sequel."
Hi Rebo, Just pulled into Tuttle Creek Campground this afternoon. Absolutely gorgeous. Snow and water in Owens Lake. Been coming to this area for 50+ years. Are you in Lone Pine? SteveO
I do not know what a hiker does in the Sierra, I only have my own personal experience. I have been through the Sierra four different times with one ascent to Mount Whitney. I put together the Owens Valley Hike because it was there to discover I went, and did it, filmed it and posted it to RUclips. Take from it what you will. The video is there for whoever is researching hiking resources for the Owens Valley. The video might not be for a PCT Hiker there might be someone else who is looking to find information and resources food, tenting, showers, transportation ect. Thank you for your comment ♥️

I am not in Lone Pine ❤ I am in Los Angeles starting up
"City Trails" documenting the local Angelonian locations
I am heading to Hollywood Hills ❤
Interesting but most pct hikers don't get far from the trail they learn that on the cdt.
