I just realized that the most defining feature of shiny Duraludon is that it doesn't have the crimson mark on the top of its head. Might be the easiest way to tell them apart from any distance!
@@xDrucciMane just go to Serebii and look at the generation you're hunting in. You can figure out what is more noticeable for your eyes. If it's subtle (like Joltik or Minior) then go to videos to see what it looks like
Might've found an Exploit Cave in the Polar Biome with Duraludon, Snubull, Granbull, Rotom and Vulpix. Go to the top of where the Canyon and Polar meet. Take the trail down a sbort distance and the cave is on your right, into the hillside. Pretty sure that's the one where there's a static Tera Metang chilling out. Haven't had the opportunity to do a shiny picnic, but seems like it fits the bill.
@@AlphaNOmegaX yup, I tried last night and Duraludon spawned incredibly slowly. It should definitely work with the Bulldogs, Vulpix and possibly Rotom though. I found a great Duraludon spot where you can picnic reset and run around though, got 2 in 1 sandwich. Heading from the Central Plaza, go towards the cave and climb up the mountain to the left. It's on a main plateau near the trainer standing by a big ice chunk, there's a small Tera block square across from the trainer. Head towards the cliff to the right if you're facing up the mountain and find the spot to picnic. You'll get the full 15, can pan the camera, Auto or run around. Hope it helps! Also, the video spot is legit, of course 😂

Don’t ask me why today I don’t know at all but all of a sudden while playing scarlet and was in the biomes and I wanted a shiny duraludon I just did. Like a brain fart I see duraludon and first impulsive thoughts pops in my head I want a shiny duraludon. I still haven’t found one yet I’m just now starting to get into this shiny hunt craze every Pokémon players been talking about and I finally understand the pain of doing mass out breaks encounter Sandwiches, manual save not auto save my progress so just in case I accidentally kill a shiny I won’t lose it forever, Masuda method (still trying to understand the whole mechanics of it) etc etc etc. it sucks but sooo satisfying I’ve already got a shiny yungoos (found it day one of playing the main scarlet violet story after beating the first gym and I wanted a gible for my team so I can evolve it to garchomp (one of my personal favorites tbh) then all of a sudden I see yungoos shiny in the corner) and a shiny tentacool (which I found on accident btw while going through the main story of the teal mask and indigo dlc in the costal biome). Rn I’m getting tired of seeing red tops on duraludon I just want it’s shiny which is weird because duraludon isn’t a shiny I wanted so bad when it first came out in sword and shield.)

I hate that Archaludon is so small. I honestly thought it would be much bigger. That bridge is made for ants 💀 You basically need a huge Archaludon to make it seem big. (Also Huge Hydrapples look sick. Especially shiny ones)

I found the evo item metal alloy in chargestone cave in the polar biome area. Was rushing to train an electivire when i started the dlc and that cave is where elekid and electabuzz are common spawns.
This spot would also work for golett/golurk, minior and beldum/metagross using ground/ghost, rock/flying and psychic respectively no? I've only just begun the DLC so I don't know if more species spawn but I don't think any other of those types spawn here unless unlocked
After a whole afternoon of trying to shiny hunt this thing (I didn't use the sandwich, I was going through the Mass Outbreaks), a shiny Duraludon finally appeared right while I was watching this video lol
Like and comment for being the only good video that *actually* shows the shiny in a group of normals. Legit every other video I clicked jumped right to the encounter or just... didn't find a shiny. I still can't really see the difference, personally, but at least I don't feel like I'm being gaslight 😂
Try knocking out 60 Duraludons with the let's go feature then try to scout for the shiny one. Off course if the let's go pokemon does not try to knock it out it's a shiny.
@@betacrest10 Thanks for this tip, I always thought autobattle would knock out shinies. However after completely turning off and on my switch, I got 2 shinies within 20 minutes. After some reddit lurking I found out this was somehow a solution for many other people.

Dont forget to get the lv 1 sparkling power on all types for 150 BP
I prefer the lvl 3 sparkling from the sandwich in the video, of course if you have the herbs for it. If you don’t then lvl 1 will assist

I did find a Alolan geodude constant spawning cave. Had a tera pokemon in it.
