@UmbraStarWolf can't breed beldums, they are genderless last time I checked.
FR I hunted a shiny metang and it took me over 75+ premier balls at 1 HP and asleep only for it to kill itself with struggle. It took less premier balls to catch the entire Loyal 3 combined
I don't know what's more amazing the fact you got 2 shinies in 5 mins or the fact I didn't get 1 in 30 mins😩
Took me around 3-4 resets until I saw it. Had a tough time catching it but finally did it with a Timer Ball. You helped me also with getting a Duraludon, and now this. Thank you.
Always remember to save your game if a shiny appears. That way, you can just restart your game and try again, as it saves the spawns that have appeared. This has literally saved me before.

I had a shiny Lumineon swimming behind a shiny Lumineon I was already battling. I took a picture to save the moment because I could barely believe it, and thankfully I was able to catch both. :D

For one sparkling sandwich, finding 2 in 1 spawn is pretty crazy. Lighting in this game still throws me off for some shinies. Need to definitely grind out more herbas to do easier hunts

In the first two minutes of the sandwich I also got a double shiny, first a metang on the second picnic reset, then I saw a shiny beldum while battling it.

I found 2 shiny Forretress one time with a lvl 3 Steel sandwich. It was an incredible moment.
w vid, i tried this method then got a shiny beldum and a metang and get this, they were both marked (metang had a sleepy-time mark, and the beldum had a vigor mark)
(update I used another sandwich to complete the line, and i found another shiny metang and it also has a mark, the lunchtime mark to be specific)
This is great for farming the claws for the item printer too!

If anyone needs an easier method for getting the rare pokeballs for catching shinies, get the item printer from the club and upgrade it twice. You have a chance of a pokeball lottery and get any of the apricot balls, beast balls, and even more master balls and it's repeatable, though just chance odds of happening when you make items.
Oh yeah! I got a lot of apriballs from them!
*Just a quick correction:*
The _actual_ catch rate for Beldum is NOT 3% as you have stated. The catch rate is, in fact, listed as 3, or, to be more specific, 3/255, which is ever-so-slightly over 1%. (1.17647059%, according to Bing's calculator function.)
I'm just relieved that Beldum's only naturally learnable move in Gen IX is *Tackle,* as it used to be *Take Down* in previous generations, which made catching it even more stressful. (Especially in the Gen IV games, which was the first Pokémon game generation in which it could be found in the wild, as it would sometimes spawn in hordes on Sinnoh's Route 228, which is constantly bombarded by sandstorms.)

Watching this because I wanted to see how shiny Beldum looks when It pops up in game, as I’m watching I do a picnic reset and 2 shiny Beldum pop up for me too! Wild
I love shiny hunting so much and I absolutely hate that I'm colorblind. The whole time I'm just paranoid about missing one cuz they all just look greyish to me. Can't even do the picnic reset method just chillng in one spot I gotta run up to all of them to check their little claws cuz I can differentiate the gold.

sneak up and throw the pokeball from the back catching them off guard seems to help with the catch rate

Do you need the dlc to get a shiny beldum I don’t got the dlc but transferred one from shinning diamond and am breeding it with shiny charm and medusa method and have hatched over 2000 eggs either nothing?
Man, I ran three dragon sandwiches yesterday trying to get a shiny duraludon. An hour and a half of hunting with shiny charm, mass outbreak and sandwiches. Found a decent area where I could do a reset every 25 seconds or so and saw hundreds of them and still didn't find one. Super annoying how RNG works against you sometimes.
I'm half tempted to send over a shiny metagross from my PoGo account just so I can skip this hunt altogether.

Beldum is not Polar only, I got mine in Chargestone Cave within the Canyon Biome

one from clavell after completing the story, one from the current mystery gift event and one for completing the blueberry dex
And now there's a way to get infinite. Just need a lot of BP, luck, and pokemon materials

No it’s not shiny locked. Meteor form Minior looks identical to shiny meteor form Minior though, so you want to auto battle every Minior you see.

The M on Masterball actually stands for Metagross
day 1 of the DLC i knew i wanted 2 Pokemon on my team. a shiny Flygon evolved from a Trapinch, and a Shiny Jumbo Metagross. i ended up catching 9 shiny Beldum and the 9th was my Jumbo guy!!
