The Magby/Margmar spot has got to be the best, just due to the fact that its materials is also one of the best material exchanges for the Printer, can just go on Synchro, and pop off of it when you spot the shiny, and just continue resetting the cluster by KO'ing them yourself

I wish magby and magmar just spawned in this cave and not where fennekin is, i really want a shiny fennekin but its tough because magby and magmar hog up a majority of the spawn spots over there, you also get litleo and pyroar at night as well 😢
Yeah Fennekin and Snivy killed me. I used 6 sandwiches on Snivy and got it at the end of the 6th one. Fennekin I just reset until I get an outbreak near the ruins, then climbed up and synchro machined with Mudbray since it was easier to see the color of them in grass and ran out of area to despawn and respawn them
I'm finding the Alolan Diglett/Dugtrio hunt is the worst ones in the DLC. Like, whenever I try to set up a picnic, the game says that there is not enough space even after I used that specific spot the first time and on top of that the Diglett keep following me whenever I try to set one up. It's like the game changes the picnic set up spot, like, wtf.
I unlocked all of the terrarium species expansions and have been using the prescribed shiny sandwiches, hunting mudkips until the sandwich effects wear off with both the picnic resets and just running around the cave for hours and have not come across a single shiny mudkip..., am I missing something?
5 sandwiches in and still no shiny, am I missing something or am I just extraordinarily unlucky? Edit: I started just making new sandwiches instead of reloading the save and I got 2 shinies on the second sandwich.
It's an upgrade through the BB League bought with BP. It's called the zoom in feature or something like that. Lets you know gender, size, and if it has a mark

There's also a better location than this. A bit further down the cave you can actually get 15-20 spawns and reset it really easily by driving up the path which has another 5-10 spawns. Got my mudkip within 5 minutes. This one is not bad either tho for those who prefer not to ruin their joycons by driving all the time 😂 joycon drift was crazy after masuda in swsh hahaha
@PanFro I didn't know the exact number for the spawns, I did this almost a week ago and don't even remember the exact location. I just know that there was a lot of them spawning almost instantaneously and driving up and down would give me around 20-25 encounters within 10ish seconds

i like panfro's tutorials because there easy and reliable, i got my shiny porygon from one of the tutorials, now i'm getting mudkip!
There is a super easy minior hunting spot on the big plateau in the canyon biome, just pop a flying sandwich and you’ll only get minor spawning

What recipes are you using PanFro? I have been using the cucmber pickle ones.
I was driving myself crazy trying to find a Mudkip outbreak.. with this method I got a shiny Mudkip literally within minutes. 😃

ive got the same issue, if you use miraidon/koraidon to climb into the corner of the rooms ceiling the spawns seem much more consistent

You can only get up to 15 spawns at a time…
You can only get 15 spawns at once. Running around to reset takes more time than just picnic resetting and getting your max 15 spawns.
