Congrats! I was grinning along all the steps cause I recently finished my 1st high end built & exactly knew how you felt like. The 1st power on is so nerve wrecking lol. Enjoy your build! P. S. Hope you peeled the cover within that M. 2 drive heat sink.
Thank you!! That's so kind. You definitely understand the nerves then haha. Every step of the way I was second guessing and re-watching videos on how to do things. Hope you enjoy yours too!
I remember my first build as well. Good job brother. The only thing I need to recommend is that you flip your radiator the opposite way around. The hoses should be at the bottom. Well done otherwise!
This is an awesome build man you did a good job!! (The only thing I could point out wrong was RAM sticks not being placed in Slot #2 and #4) and the slightly crocked LianLi logo on the CPU block, but you went balls to the wall with that Z790 + i7-13700K Sheeshhhh! that PC is almost flying from how fast it is, it would've been cool to see a white case seeing how much you matched the white color on the fans, cpu cooler, motherboard, gpu but I guess there was a reason that you couldn't get a white corsair case instead, my first build was an i5-8400 + GTX 1060 + 8GB DDR4 back in 2019, i'm currently on an i7-9700 (non-K) but I'll soon upgrade to an i5-13600K + RTX 3060 + 16GB RAM! hehe
Very nice choice of parts, build is very clean! Just a few tips, the RAM sticks should be in in slots 2 & 4 for dual channel to get the most performance, I believe its even indicated on the motherboard itself. Make sure you enable XMP in the BIOS if you haven't already so that the RAM can run at the speed its rated for, its free performance that you'll definitely notice! 👍
@@swlime3910 he said that it should be the other way around, because it should be. 1&3 while I think it should work the same. 2&4 are proven for maximum reliability and speeds. So yes, if you want to make it black and white. 1&3 are wrong, 2&4 are right
Nice but you made a mistake with the RAM, It needs to be in the 2nd and 4th slot not 1st and 3rd :) this is for increased performance with dual channel
well done dude, nice build. would have liked to have seen you wiring the fans tho. im just getting the bits together for my build and the fan wiring seems to be the thing im struggling to get my head around. 😕
Ugh yeah! That part and the cable management in general took me forever. I was going to film it but my camera battery had died and the whole process in general took me about a full day or so off and on. I would say don't overthink it too much.
ERM, front panel is usually intake, would not place radiator in there, it blows the hot air into your components. Reverse the fans and puts it on the top instead for exhaust.
It's a 360mm radiator, this case does not have enough space to put this rad at the top, it only takes a 240mm rad or 280mm, also placing his rad on the front won't really affect the performance that much, maybe a few degrees on the gpu but that's it.
@@aiteubotlecon23 This method the only intakes blow in hot air, when in take should bring in cool air from the room. Would atleast flip them front fans.
What are you saying, you should never use as intake the back fan, it's not enough, the front might be an intake for warm air but as long as it moves air fast it will be more than enough
@Julian Berti i know that but i wasn't sure if this motherboard was one that used the first and third slot, i just thought i remembered this motherboard using the second and fourth slot
Ok first is the fans in tje front from a cosair 4000D good ? And second question the CPU cooler is better to the roof to install them or in front like you i mean it has ant difference?....i will have ,3 prestock fans front 1 back and a triple fan cooler on the roof i am ok with that?....Sorry for my bad English
Honestly, I just watched a couple videos about how to do it. I had a USB so had that plugged in and powered it on. It also made it easier that I only had 1 drive so I knew exactly which one to install it to.
Thinking about doing an unboxing of the keyboard I ordered in the near future 🤔

Excellent job, very gratifying knowing you did it yourself. When I recorded my build I was nervous all the way to the end. Enjoy that 3070.

Subbed and dropped a like, have fun with the awesome build. Loved watching it.
Thanks so much! 😁
nice build bro imma build my first pc soon too
thanks! and good luck! it was challenging but super satisfying to finish

Slots 1 and 3 also work :)

what games do you play with this?
how is ur gpu performing? i bought the same one and will start my build next year
It’s been amazing so far! Good luck on your build btw. 👍
It's been 6 months I haven't decided on one I'll stay on
Where did u buy the 13700k?
How do you get windows installed?

What was your old pc specs?
It had been a while since I upgraded. I had a 1070, 6th gen i7 (I think), and 16g ram.
You recommend lian li galahad aio 360 ?
it's only been about a week, but it wasn't too hard to attach and it's been great so far!
shoulda got a white case
I really like the black one. 😄 an all white build was something I considered but didn’t want personally!
ngl u should of bought a white case cause almost all of ur parts are white and then the case is black
I thought about that, but the black case was intentional. I just liked the way it looked with the all white parts. 😄
Be careful since you didn’t take off the heat sink film for your NvME
He did peel it off
