- The performance is from The 2016 International Choir Festival of Szczecin, Poland. In June 2016 we in Sofia Vokalensemble were taking part of the festival and got the chance to tour in Germany and Poland.
In this video we are performing "Only in Sleep" by Ēriks Ešenvalds together with one of the world's most awarded choirs, The Philippine Madrigal Singers.

i will always go back to this vid to give myself a reminder how much i love music and remind me that in the hearts of my biological parents maybe i was once a child that they miss so much. i wish i could still find them and make me feel how it is to live with blood family and finally dont feel abandoned and alone in this difficult world :( thank you madz and sofia ensem🤍

Only in sleep of matter (the death of flesh, symbolically) we can see and be Real children of God. This sound is symbolic evidence of understanding the essence of our existence: the mirrors of God. It is a symbol of our inner search for God. The longing for the Soul. The return to the True Abode. Impossible contain my tears 🥹🧘🏻♂️💎🪞♾️

You simply never fail to amaze your audience. It's such a blessing to listen to such powerful yet crystal clear chords, I can't get enough of it. And then the pianissiami come up, and the world is gone and all thats left is just pure music.
From the bottom of my heart THANK YOU to every single one who was involved in this magical performance. I really hope, when all the madness has ceased, you come to Germany, I will be there, count on it.
