I'm 90% sure that all the Supes are bulletproof to varying degrees. Homelander being the most. The Deep should've been sent to Wyoming. The most landlocked state and least amount of water.
Loved your reaction Emme. Fantastic analysis.
I think mm stands for marvin milk
Btw we get to know all the supes names, like kevin aka the deep, reggie (i think) a-train, and now john aka homelander
@@raymondamador1487 thank you!
@@icebreaker4354 I think his name is Marvin Mothers Milk. Yes MM stands for Marvin Milk, only his friends call him Mothers. As part of his crew he introduced himself to Huey as Mothers Milk, his middle name.
"Not you, Noir. You've been great"
The most decent thing Homelander said.
VERY true
Even Homelander doesn't want to attack Black Noir. Noir is a great man. haha
A-Train shows classic signs or Narcissistic personality disorder. 1. Need to be admired. 2. Inability to actually care about others. 3. Secretly insecure. 4. Project their mistake and shortcomigs onto others.
the nickname "mother's milk" comes from marvin's backstory, which the show left on the cutting room floor. like most of the original comic, that backstory's pretty tragic, gruesome and icky.
This is probably the only instane when cutting away stuff from source material improves whole thing. Im glad they skipped all of the bullshit from comics. If it was 1:1 with source material it would probably flop after first season..
@majorbombas6354 it happens waaay more than you think.
Fight club is a much better film than book. Same with princess bride. The last of us made some changes that just work better for a show
Great reaction! I'm glad you understood that scene at around 11:15, because a bunch of reactors misread it.
Yeah. For some reason, some reactors conclude that Becca cheated on Billy and the idea that Homelander raped her was just Billy rationalizing. I totally never understood that. I’m glad Emme understood what actually happened.
I never noticed the vent moving, good eye
This show’s writing is so good with doling out information and explaining things but still putting in surprises that feel organic. Kripke is doing a great job with running the show and, from what I’ve seen, the whole cast really loves working together
Imagine getting sexually assaulted the way Becca did by superhuman in real life and you couldn't do nothing about it. I knowing I couldn't do nothing about it would find at least the closest person the superhuman person loved and kill them I wouldn't care what happens to me after that and don't give me the moral dilemma to take someone's life cause my reasoning to reason will be out the concept you don't r. a. p. e. The love of my life and throw her away like it's just a consumed product .
I love your reactions, keep up the great work!!! This show is amazing!!
Thank you so much!!
Hey, always fun to watch your reactions :), I hope you will continue with other seasons.
Fun thing I like to point out is that Butcher didn't know that his weapon wouldn't kill Annie. He shot anyways.
Hey Emme! Can't wait to see your reaction to the season finale!
I love this show! it’s like rewatching it for the 7th time again
The end of this season finale is when this show really kicks off and starts getting really good..
Also, as I've commented before, this show is going to destroy whatever innocence you had left lol..
Homelander... you don't have to like him, to approve any of his actions, to condone him. But the writers did a great job of making us *understand* why he became this sociopath. Vogelbaum and his team just abused an innocent child.
Have a lovely Friday everybody and just remember to “always look on the bright side of life.”💖
They wrote The Deep so well, they put the character into a corner straight away for people to hate him.. And just a few episodes later you feel bad for the guy lol
Noir is pretty cool, I see him as the counter part to Kimiko on the Boys. They both are the respective bad asses on their teams, and both don't speak. Now whether or not your thought will age like milk or not. Generally milk is best kept refrigerated until the best before date. Speaking of milk, I think it's time I poured a nice frosty glass
Speaking of comments, you always end your reaction asking us not to get arrested. I feel there's a story to that thought, and am curious if you could share that?
“He’s writing a memoir called, ‘Deeper,’ please!” Was that a sex joke, lol, or a psych joke, or both? 😂
It’s ironic that The Deep is writing a memoir called “Deeper” when, in truth, he isn’t all that deep.
@@JohnWelsh-oz3jz He’s shallow.
A-Train was right in that case!💯🌚💯💯💯
we love noir and maeve
We REALLY DO
I think you missed it but in one of the earlier episodes MM mentioned that during one of their previous assignment Frenchie made a mistake which somehow resulted in a superhero killing Mallory's grandkids (burning them alive). MM blamed Frenchie for screwing up, and this created a rift between the two. They didn't want to work together anymore and they all split.
as a fellow Ohio-an you know DAMN WELL that we're the perfect place to send a famous person to punish them 🤣🤣🤣
EDit: came back to say "that bone was supposed to be inside his leg I think" almost killed me
Hey now ohio looks great in autumn!!!
Idk about all of Ohio, but Sandusky specifically, would it be hell for a celeb?
It's funny that no one get the point that A-train says to hugie that is his fault that popclaw is dead because they blackmail her and put her on the radar of homelander, if A-train wouldn't kill her homelander probably would kill them both, so yes, it is the boys fault
A train isn't lying. Homelander wouldn't have told A train to kill Popclaw if the boys hadn't blackmailed her.
But by extension Homelander wouldn’t of told A train to kill Popclaw if he hadn’t involved her in his drug trafficking operation.
Now I know who’s got a PhD in Justification.
All of life is an interconnected web of causality, but that's mostly indirect action and thus has nothing to do with blame. Blame is assigned by _direct_ action and by malicious intent or extreme negligence. A-Train chose to kill Popclaw (and did), so he shoulders 100% of the blame for her death. The Boys carry none.
@@LOSFOUFOUP Follow the web of causality. The Boys wouldn't know of Popclaw if it wasn't for Translucent, who wouldn't have been their prisoner if it weren't for Hughie planting the bug which he wouldn't have done if it were not for A-Train running through Robin.
Therefore A-Train is responsible for Popclaw's death 😂😂
❤🎉
Hughie had to leave Starlight at the end or Butcher would have killed her.
Bravo.
So as an Ohio girl, are you into gills? Asking for a friend. 😄
Yes A train killed popclaw but because he was made to by homelander since she told the boys about compound v
