The CL is important, but he's way off on the Euros. The Euros are more exciting than the WC. And for those of us who don't live in Europe and where foothall doesn't dominate the media and day to day life, the Euros bring us onto the streets. Facts.
I dunno, I kinda agree with Mario. That Austria Ukraine game was tough going. There#s been some other woeful games too. I do think the Russia Denmark game was decent and the tournament will get better but the stuff he said about Russia and Qatar and my own feeling about how club football is funded now with so many scummy owners, he's mostly right.
