    Hello Jon , merci pour vos vidéos , j'ai 51 ans pour 1.78 m et 75 kgs et à recommencer le long board sérieusement depuis 3 ans, aussi je teste aussi les trucks bear 130 gen 6 en ce moment , mon set up est 50°, bushings 85A, à l'avant et trucks 40° , cale de 7° ( pour avoir 33°) bushings 95A à l'arriérre sur rocket mini hades .super sensation !!! mais..je pense que pour mon niveau je préfere les bear 155 avec même configuration car plus stable pour apprendre à slider
    bon ride à toi🙂🙃🙂🙃😉

      Hi and thank you for the great detail comment. Also cool to see you’re getting back into Longboarding and near same age (55) , height (1.70 m) and I’m a little heavier by 12kg. I don’t have enough experience or understand the degree of split truck your 50/40 to my 40/35, but may try that in the future? Have not tried the shim, but definitely will. 95a - will try that too. Makes sense on 155, which is a size down for me from typical 180mm and my first really low hanger. Good riding to you as well. 🤘🙏 I am editing my first session now and will be posting tonight.

    I don't think Bear hangers fit well with Randal baseplates. I think it's better to get some accessories to set up your 130mm 40-degree Bears from Pat's Risers (specifically 7- & 20-degree wedges and insert bushings).
    One of my skate buddies runs his 130mm 40-degree Bear Gen 6's for DH (on a Landyachtz Small Bind) set up as the following:
    Front: 7-degree wedge from Pat's Risers (to be 47-degrees total); Venom HPF 81A barrel boardside + cupped washer; Pat's Risers Bear Gen 6 insert bushing; Venom HPF 81A barrel roadside + flat washer;
    Rear: 20-degree dewedge from Pat's Risers (to be 20-degrees total); Venom HPF 93A barrel boardside + cupped washer; Pat's Risers Bear Gen 6 insert bushing; Venom HPF 93A barrel roadside + flat washer.
    You could try his exact setup and adjust from there. It's a pretty solid start-setup for Bear Gen 6's.
    Ideally, Seismic Defcon 15mm barrels offer slightly better stability than Venom HPF barrels, so you could change all those Venom HPF barrels above to Seismic Defcon 15mm barrels in the same durometers.
    edit: you may have to find some 1.00-inch inner-diameter cupped washers for Seismic Defcon 15mm barrels though, since they are exactly 1.00 inches in diameter (unlike Venoms, which are 0.975 inches in diameter).
    edit #2: if you cannot find 1.00-inch inner-diameter cupped washers, but you do want to try Seismic Defcon 15mm barrels, then I suggest you run the roadsides 1 step lower in durometer.
    I.E.
    Front: 7-degree wedge from Pat's Risers (to be 47-degrees total); Seismic Defcon 15mm 81A barrel boardside + flat washer; Pat's Risers Bear Gen 6 insert bushing; Seismic Defcon 15mm 77A barrel roadside + flat washer;
    Rear: 20-degree dewedge from Pat's Risers (to be 20-degrees total); Seismic Defcon 15mm 93A barrel boardside + flat washer; Pat's Risers Bear Gen 6 insert bushing; Seismic Defcon 15mm 90A barrel roadside + flat washer.

      Wow-awesome detail as usual-🙏 Will try this after some more time on this current set-up. Had an amazing session today, made it around a corner on new hill, Coleman, felt my back foot inner sole and will be posting soon.
      Will be getting the materials for the set up-for sure though.👍

      @@cantskate5535 I hope you get to try the Bears when set up as 47/20 as described above. 47/20 with those bushings described above should be both more stable and even more turney than your current 40/35 setup.
