This song really hits me hard big time.
I knew this girl for a long time and I knew I love her even then. She always had a bad relationship which leads to giving her traumas, depression and even losing her will to live. I always try to understand her point of view whenever we talk, at some point asking her to go out to help her cope with it. As time goes by I ask her if I can court her, she agreed but she told me she want to take it slow and not force it. I agreed, every day and night I try to make her feel special and deserving of love. Eventually she's feeling better, finds her old self and started doing the things she used to do that made her happy. She started being busy to the point we hardly talk that much or even go on dates which I don't mind that much knowing she's getting happier while doing everything she loves even though we hardly talk to each other. She updates me still even tell me stories about her days when she has time for it. Eventually I found out she had started a relationship with someone. Rather than feeling hurt and mad, I felt disappointed with the fact that she had hidden it from me instead of telling me and rejecting my intentions of loving her. I don't really mind the pain that comes from rejection but getting forgotten by the person you love hits harder to the point that when I found out about it I laughed rather than cry, and these nights that I want to cry it out no tears fall.

This song hit me hard. Saw my ex yesterday. We have been split up for 7 wks and just last week I found out he is in a new relationship which started 2 1/2 weeks after we split. He told me he still loves me and has feelings for me...and wanted us to get back together. Then he met a woman he knew as a kid (was friends with her younger sister) and things just happened. Now I always wonder what might have been. Kind of wish he hadn't said what he said to me... I'm now doing a lot of over thinking.... Ugggh feeling so frustrated. 😫

In my experience if you're not meant to be it won't turn out the way you want it to . I guess you're lucky in a way it's better to find out now rather than later who they really are. My advice is we only have one life make it count and enjoy every second of it 😇😊😊
