A Room With a View is probably one of my favorites of all time! Hope you enjoy it! If you do, definitely follow it up with Maurice...also fantastic and might be my favorite Forster. I liked, but didn't love Checkout 19, however the parts where A Room with a View was discussed made me so happy. Such an interesting and special experience to connect with a fictional character over a favorite book haha

I just bought Birnam Wood a couple months ago! Can't wait to get to it. The first Baldwin I read was The Fire Next Time - genuinely some of the most beautiful writing I've ever encountered. Need to get to Giovanni's Room soon too!
