Regina Pug You can get e.l.f. products (like in this video) at Walmart, Target, and places like that. They're VERY inexpensive. When she said she spent $100 on e.l.f., I was shocked. I can get everything my Walmart stocks of this brand, and not spend nearly that much. I would get the basics to start - face primer (can use on eyelids as well, but some people find regular concealer on the lids does the same job), foundation, concealer, powder, highlighter, bronzer, mascara, eyeshadows, blush, and lip tint. Since you're new, you probably won't be contouring. The "tools" you'll need are brushes and as eyelash curler, some people like blenders and sponges, too. The rule for brushes and sponges is, the softer, the better! EcoTools is a great inexpensive brand. You can get that at Walmart, too. Just looks into which brushes do which job, and buy accordingly, or... You can get a brush set. Definitely have a sponge and blender or hand just in case. I hope this helps, and good luck! Have fun!

Usually the really cheap brands don’t really succeed in a good foundation/Concealer but Katy’s lookin real fresh 👀😍❤️
TabMUA if only they made more than 4 colors..... all light to medium toned. Forget pale and deep toned people.
raggedyann I definitely agree! Most concealers are way too dark for me, and pale foundations are almost never my warm undertone! Brands also tend to forget about shade depth for deeper skin tones too. Usually I like it mix shades to get a good choice on myself and clients!

My fave ELF products are their brushes... they're actually really nice, fluffy and soft. Not scratchy at all. The powder, blurring, highlighting and foundation brushes are my daily go-to's... even though I have a stack of IT Cosmetics and Luxie brushes on my vanity. Check them out... Also, Mad for Matte II eyeshadow palette is really pretty... gorgeous colors. Much better than the first one. :)

The foundation for me is amazing! I have normal to dry skin and I love that its not full matte. If you try any concealer get the one in the super big tube. The rest really arent great. The one in the tube with the wand is awful unless you have really warm medium to dark skin. The lightes shade is darker than me in the summer (I am fair skinned and it doesn't work for me even with a tan!)
