BS. I'm born and raised here. Carjacking are so common ppl get their gas delivered here. I love my city but since it turned blue crime has gone through the roof and thugs and killers commit crimes with impunity. I left 3 yrs ago and only go back to visit. Its probably the most dangerous city in the US over the past couple yrs. Even in the good areas it's not really safe. My sister was carjacked in gentilly 2 weeks ago. She's OK thank God.
I've visited New Orleans in the past and I can say its neither good or bad. For me I believe its the mindset a person has when they visit which makes their own experience what they want it to be. I've considered moving there and still would move there just to see how would like that experience; but im not there yet. But I'd do my research and live in the more decent part of the city where I can feel a sense of safety and security. I always say a person has to go visit these places and or live there to see it for themselves and to know if they like it or not. Can't just always go off of hearsay. To each's own.....
I live in the Bayou St John neighborhood across from City Park right on the bayou and I swear this is the only side of town that has minimal bullshit. People walk along the bayou all night, couples have picnics and just chat and talk, people biking, walking, skateboarding, rollerblading, working out all over the place. It’s expensive but sooo worth it. Quiet but still lively and friendly. Everyone I walk pass smiles and tells me good morning/afternoon.
One thing I notice watching these videos is these black neighborhoods, although they're poor and dangerous, still have life. Drive through any white neighborhood and it's a dead zone, no one outside, no noise, nothing. Black, even though they're not doing anything constructive, are almost always out and about.
wy pipo see alot of black people and they translate that to danger smh. i see nothing in this video besides some old infrastructure and young ppl outside
A big Healthy no way to this place. Thanks for the ride along.

If I ever visit America I want Charlie to be my tour guide 😂
She was "throw my own wig on the ground" mad!
Shaniqua ANGRY! I'm surprised she didn't get on all fours and jump around 😅
It looks like a nice neighborhood to move and raise a family I'm moving 🏃
It's 100% black culture! Happy Juneteenth😂😂
Clearly in the NO they park in whichever direction they feel like on the street
If I ever visit New Orleans again someday, I will stop at Hanks Restaurant and have dinner. 5:38
😂 let us know how it goes
You and I are the wrong skin tone for that part of town.

Очень хочется пройтись по этим улицам и познакомиться с этими милыми людьми. Уверен что в душе они неплохие парни.
Let's see Alexandria Louisiana next. I heard it was pretty rough
It just warms my heart seeing all the homies come together to come up with a plan on how they can better their ratchet community!!
This is a side of the city you don't see often.
People choose too live that way, Take a little pride in your neighborhood n pick up the trash instead of walking around it.
The HipHop community looking trashed, destroyed, conquered, defeated and violent looking like always.
Just go to this part of New Orleans if you want a nice and spooky adventure
I believe that these areas were really hit hard by hurricane Katrina.
Thanks Charlie
OMG!! I been there!! still looks the same!!! 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Bad. Sure are a lot of people who need not worry about getting up early the next morning for work.
Whiteys tax dollars get distributed evenly around these cities
Miss your vids Charlie, thank you again as always (from a sheltered white BOI!!!)
7:18 the plaza tower in the Back has a net on it now .
5:47 Next time stop at Hank's for some good eats.
New Orleans home of the Creole hot crawfish.people that cook real good food ❤❤❤
Do any of those people have what you could call a normal day job ?
Yes they do just like everyone else just saying that I'm telling you the truth about that
I guess there's no night life in your neighborhood eh

You should make a video about Jackson Hood, Wyoming
wut goes on there?
For some reason it feels like any place named Jackson is bound to be hood.
Wyoming?☠️ if you a hamster from Wyoming I will laugh in yo face
Lots of semi-expensive cars, good infrastructure. Great example of people making these areas what they are, not the lack of money.
Evabody got nice cars there to be seemingly poor.
It's from the proceeds of drug money, welfare fraud, and PPP loan fraud.
Why do a lot of adults still act like they are still in high school

To avoid being identified.
How do I know it is dangerous ?
I think Sao Paulo (Brazil) is worst than New Orleans.
