@@StephLeGratteux Surely she was it, no doubt. Alanis is a great singer, her Jagged little Pill album is in my top 20 of all time (maybe top 10 when I take out the metal stuff). And somehow I loved her style as a woman too. Almost no one was easier than my wife, but she was. She is canadien as Celine Dion (my wife's all time fav), I guess. And we loved the music videos of Lenny very much. Good old times, when MTV was realy Music Tele-Vision.
@@peternemes6770 Jagged... is one of the best 90s album. I remember her first appearance on french tv ruclips.net/video/VN3nAthPm_4/видео.html. Her second album is still ok but far less good than Jagged in my opinion. Then I gave up (except a few songs)
@@StephLeGratteux Same opinion. The rest was forgettable.. Sadly. But the Jagged album was extremly good. I have a special (extended) version of it. She has such a special voice!! Maybe that was a TOO STRONG start, I don't know. By me it was the "wow" feeling that I felt for examle by the Skid Row (you like them too, I know) or the first Extreme album, Pornografitti. That was soooo great, it has made the level too high.
