    I've got great news, Tech-man! I have just gotten my 400W PSU and installed it, alongside my GPU and it's working! I'm currently downloading the Nvidia drivers so it can function properly. And at the current moment, I'm just waiting for the Male-Female Angle Slot so that I can more easily put the outer cage back on.

    Thanks for another great video! Only confusing part is sometimes in the splitscreen you show performance of the Nvidia card on the left and AMD on the right, and then in the next benchmarking segment you have them swapped so AMD is on the right and Nvidia is on the left. Took me a little bit to realize they flip flopped, it also does not help that I am red/green colorblind and both cards have the letters "R" "X" and "T" in the name lol!!

    Great video! My brother and I are in the process of upgrading his Envy. Installed the 500W PSU and the 3060 GPU - GPU temps get too high during gaming (80C) - we're adding an exhaust fan and replacing the rear fan with a better unit....I'm so impressed with those temps you get with that single chassis fan + huge CPU heatsink

    There should be a panel door with better circulation. My fan blows out towards the panel door (this is the only way to install the fan for the Nocturna). If it had one with perforated holes the unit would run a lot cooler. I just have the panel door open, which is not ideal but it brings the CPU temps down by 10 degrees (61C when gaming)

    So I just bought a GeForce RTX 3060. It installs just like the RX 6700, with an exception to a few things. Question, I understand that for sake of structure you did not put the shell back on the desktop after installing the RX 6700. If you wanted to, would you still be able to put the desktop shell back on after installation? I'm just not the "desktop WIDE-OPEN" kinda guy. And if it helps, I have this exact model desktop.

    Hi, I totally like your videos and your real personality it conveys real virtues. Questions regarding the one PCIe slot that the TEO1 motherboard comes with. I want to install a GPU and a sound card for creative purposes. Your insight on the TEO1 and knowledge of it being a Form Factor would help resolve some questions. How do you feel about PCIe slot splitter/riser first off? And what do I need to know about the PCIe slot in general? What all do I need to accomplish this task? Is there a certain type of PCIe slot splitter/riser that I will need due to the orientation of the TEO1's FF and space given for GPU card etc.? Thank you and Best Regards

      Fast and cheapest way take the side off. But if that is a no go. Add front Fan and a 3000 rear fan. you could also add a fan that is free point at the GPU from the bottom. At this point you are spend the same as just doing a case swap. Maybe 75$ more for the case swap. You can get case with good fans and your of to the races.

      In most real world usage, your 400W PSU should be fine for a 3060. If you do have any extra hardware installed that takes up extra power such as optical drives, mechanical hard drives, RGB etc. Then you may want to remove some of those to lower your power usage. Also do not do any overclocking.

      @lumiereeclair 2 года назад +2

      @@hippieflip8893 Do you already have the graphics card? Your PSU won't limit the quality of the picture, it's the GPU that is more important. Here's the thing though, since you want to do VR your GPU utilization is going to be quite high, which means it'll most likely draw more wattage when in use. I said before normally, you should be fine with 400W PSU and the RTX 3060. I can't say what can happen if you plan to play in VR. If you already have the 3060, then try it out, the worse that can happen is the GPU will draw too much wattage and your PSU should shut down due to OPP (over power protection). If however you don't have the GPU yet, I recommend getting the RX 6600. It's performance is slightly lower than the 3060, but both cards are more than capable of VR. The pros of the RX6600 is that it has a much lower power draw than the 3060. The 3060 needs 170W vs. the RX6600 which needs only 132W.

      400w will support the 3060ti no Overclocking! any thing past that you need a 500w. if you stick 3 HDD in your PC you would need a 500w, you want to keep a overheard on the PSU of 20%. this is not because the parts use that much, it is because of spikes in power when used. Mostly when you start a game or heavy app that Use the CPU and GPU at 75%+. But it only spikes for like half a secs. this is why you can get away with it.
