I just want to clarify that at the time of uploading this, I still misunderstood who I was and thought I was a man - which is WHY I have stubble and a deepish voice here. To be honest, I don't think those things are exclusively male - women can have stubble and a deep voice just like men can have smooth skin and a high voice - but I am seeing a lot of people misunderstand my appearance BEYOND my syndrome here. Sechari That's everyone. Literally every person. When you feel self conscious about yourself, always know that the most wonderful and beautiful people you know of feel that way sometimes too. You're never alone in how you feel, even if it seems impossible. Our feelings sometimes have a way of isolating us, which is unfortunate because they're the biggest thing we all have in common.

Deafness isn't inherently bad or something to pity, but a lack of accomodations and ignorance makes it hard for sure.
I honestly find the bigger space between your eyes to be extremely beautiful and unique (in a good way!) it makes you look almost angelic and doll like, you're absolutely stunning!
And omg I'm also deaf in my left ear!! I love meeting people who share my struggle with that we're like our own little army of half deaf people!

Hey stef, I have waardenburg as well. i have large hearing loss in my right ear, and white patches on some parts of my body. but i don't have the features as you do. good luck, keep doing what you're doing, and stay strong! :)
Well, I'm glad YT recommended your video, even if it's a bit late. Your advice about embracing your personal uniqueness, especially if you stand out, touched me. I would've loved hearing that as a child or teen, but I'm going to take it to heart now. I hope your journey over the past 5 years has brought you much, especially joy.

ikr? the only bad side about this syndrome looks like is the hearing problem, the physique is normal, people have so many different eyes lips nose shape and sizes you can't really tell weather you're strange looking or not .. the only really noticeable thing may be the eyes , but again there is people with eyes very close to each others, which isnt even that uncommon so, if people would tell me I look like an alien ild love it who doesn't love aliens! and he looks gorgeous by the way, who tells him different or pokes fun must be jealous

I've never seen your videos but clicked on this one out of curiosity. The line "questions about my face" perplexed me as I would have never thought to question anything about your appearance. Even after watching this I had to google around to figure out exactly what you're referring to. It's silly that you'd have to address this but I admire you for doing so-enough to write a comment on RUclips! Whatever genetics you've been handed, you wear them well. You are lovely. Period.

I agree if you're beautiful(which you are) then there should be no question because everyone has something about them that beautiful weather it's internal, spiritual, external or physical everyone has the capability to be beautiful in their own way and In truth if I had seen you before this video you would have looked beautiful but the fact that you have the courage to explain yourself and this syndrome to the world just shows how special and truly beautiful you are

More power too her! People with Waardenburg Syndrome, Albinism, and similar conditions can be beautiful like anyone else. I would not even call them disorders, because the people who have them function fine, with only minor issues.

Aside from the hearing loss, everything else seems like a bonus! You are absolutely beautiful.
Not the hair growth where body hair is visible. Kids are heavily influenced by their peers and even at preteen stage, talk about leg hair removal..even arm hair. I personally wouldn't care about the brows but it's a personal thing as one gets older. The hearing loss sucks of course so the mum is lucky.
Hearing loss doesn't inherently suck, it can be quite fun actually.

this is really interesting! I never would have though you had any kind of syndrome because to me you just look like a perfectly 'normal' person. I think it's because typically we associate the words syndrome and mutation with features that make you 'ugly' which is 100% false and you are living proof that a syndrome/mutation does not make you ugly. you are a beautiful, strong, inspiring elven prince!

When I was a child I drew people who looked just like you (no one in my family had this syndrome and I didn't even know it existed until now, though). When I "grew up" and went to art school, my teachers harped on me about proportions; it was so hard to change the way I drew eyes because I just thought I was drawing a beautiful person. They said I was wrong but I say they should have looked harder for the people they didn't seem to be seeing. You're very beautiful and I love your makeup btw!! :3 awesome.

I am a neurosurgeon (MD) with two PhD's, one in Physiological Psychology and the other in Biological Anthropology. I applaud the way that you were able to briefly describe your syndrome for those who aren't aware of it, and I am proud that you own who you are. Everyone is unique, and should celebrate their differences as well as their similarities; but remember that we are all ONE SPECIES: Homo sapiens - HUMAN. We should look beyond appearance, and judge individuals by their own merits, not lump them into groups. Congratulations on all that you are. 👍🏼👏🏼

I was in a Sign Language Interpreter training program and my teacher is one of 2 hearing children. The other 6 had Waardenberg’s Syndrome and all those affected by Waardenberg’s were deaf. Of the children in her family she is the only interpreter. So dinners usually get cold because someone is speaking or signing.
I didn't even notice anything. This is my first video and I immediately thought "I like this person's eyes o.o they have nice eyes."
I didn't see anything wrong either until it was pointed out to me. The one thing I did notice was those gorgeous blue eyes.

So sad to think people would leave negative comments. Your eyes are absolutely beautiful! You almost have the appearance of an Anime character (no offense intended). As a doctor, I'd like to share I have a 99-year-old patient with Waardenburg's (I am in geriatric medicine) & she is still as spry as she was in her 20's and just a pleasure to visit & just listen to what she has to share about her childhood & the wonderful life she has lived. It is the reason I chose geriatric medicine. I am Irish born and raised & there is such a huge difference as to how the elderly are treated here and in Ireland.
You are blessed. You are healthy, happy & seem to know who you are and have at least as much as any of us can have, an idea where you want to go in your life. It takes a lot of courage to confront an issue such as a congenital condition and you did so beautifully. Many of us do not do as well. I am losing my sight to retinitis pigmentosa and have been slowly retiring as I lose my vision. Hopefully, we will all get the position where we can accept who we are and what God has given us to work with. Your video put a smile in my heart. Thank you so much for sharing.

You are extremely attractive, like my eyes have trouble pulling their gaze off your face. I am an old lady so I am not trying to sound all up in your everything, but Among any other career plans I think you would do well in modelling. My mom always told me "If you've got it, flaunt it!" If you do go into any careers like modelling, I would always keep a bodyguard with me if I were you. Understand the career is usually 10-15 years then they toss you aside. Better yet, choose 1 photographer and you get to control the images you want released just like Marilyn Monroe did (beautiful and savvy). A group photo of you with other Waardenberg Syndrome people would be interesting to see. You are strikingly beautiful, no one can say you're not. Thank you for your candor.God bless you.
