As a cisgender woman, I find this so fascinating. I really admire how you're getting this information out there about the trans community. Since subscribing to your channel I've learned so much, and I am so grateful for that. I believe that you giving understanding to such a wide audience will really help to reduce the stigma around transgender men and women. Knowledge is power 💝

The Sunflower Trail. Howdy🤗 Cis woman here as well, and Stef is my RUclips #1! Her intelligence mixed with her personality makes her a perfect person to help "spread the word"! So very happy for her, she was the first person I ever helped with funding, and I now help several folks, for different reasons. So happy Go-Fund-Me even exists. I needed help a few years ago and not a single person helped...I will be darned if I am going to let anyone else I truly believe in, have that feeling! Yup, love this lady, she is such a bright light in a darkening world lately. Glad I ran across her and that she chooses to do RUclips ❣

I agree with all of the positive comments on your physical beauty, but can i just say, that having only recently just discovered you on youtube, i would also like to add that i think you are the most enigmatic, charismatic, captivating and level-headed young woman that i have come across in a very long time. I also happen to think that you are the most remarkable ambassador for the trans community and incredibly informative and inspirational. Only through learning and knowledge will we ever abolish negative stereotypes in our communities, which usually only exist in the first place as a result of fear borne out of ignorance. You my young friend are playing a pivotal part in transgender education and you should be immensely proud of yourself. Maintain your positivity it is so refreshing and makes your shows so very entertaining.

I stumbled across your videos when looking at a Discovery channel video on a different syndrome. Your video on Waardenburg syndrome came up and was brilliant. You were cute, funny, charismatic, open, and honest. I loved it! Your part 2 came next and imagine my surprise when you said you were a trans person. I honestly did not have a clue watching the first one. Then I was hooked and had to see the next few. I am incredibly appreciative of you sharing your innermost thoughts, feelings, and vulnerabilities with the entire world, which I am sure can be difficult at times. Thank you for educating me! I think I just spent the last 2 hours watching your videos. Somehow I stumbled upon you explaining Waardenburg Syndrome (thank you for teaching me something new. If I saw you walking down the street, I would have thought your unique eyes just made you more beautiful) I just wanted to say thank you for being such a strong and bright icon for others to follow and know that there is nothing "wrong" with them and to love themselves. Im a new(ish) mom and even when I was pregnant I promised my baby boy that I would love him and support him no matter who he was. Its people like you who make me feel confident that no matter who he is and what his gender identity or sexual orientation may be, he will be able to find his way. He will know I will always love him no matter what and having this openness and honesty that you give is a blessing to help us teach our children, as they grow, that love comes in all shapes, sizes, and colors and love is love. And its beautiful.

I can't explain how thankful I am that there's someone like you here to explain things that need explaining but can be difficult to do so. I'm not trans, though I have thought I was before, and your videos are not only entertaining, but enriching and informative to anyone who may need a bit more in depth info on transitioning. I have a friend who is transitioning to female and she's having such a rough time with it, and doesn't have too many people she can trust and confide in. I show her your videos and it helps her relax a bit, helps her get her head straight and focus on her next goal and I don't think many other people/RUclipsrs have the stuff to help her like you have . I can't thank you enough , just for you being you, and I'm so happy you're able to be yourself. Be the best you that you can be, breadmom, I love you all the way ❤

Windy Burns conpleatly agree. But then they won't even help someone like me with something as simple as removing excess skin from loosing almost 200 Lbs. It's angering. Dysmorphia is a huge problem for people and it's debilitating. If it's this bad for someone like me... I can't even imagine how bad it is for someone like Stef... I think that this type of surgery COULD save lives. Here's an article that gives some of the stats for gender dysphoria in the trans community. (Note, this article focuses on teens, and I am not suggesting that surgery is right for every case but should at least be considered) www.slate.com/blogs/outward/2016/05/19/gender_dysphoria_is_killing_transgender_teens.html

I really resonated with what you said about having a stronger connection with your family after surgery. I had double incision top surgery three weeks ago, and my mom took care of me for the first five days. My mom isn't fully supportive of my transition, but she tries really hard to be there for me. I know it was really hard for her when I had surgery, but having her take care of me when I was so vulnerable repaired our relationship in ways I don't know how to explain. I think she has a better understanding of me, and I feel a lot more connected to her after that experience.
You look absolutely beautiful, Stef! I'm so happy you were able to have this done. You look noticeably happier. Much love ❤

My brother is going to undergo a similar procedure, similar in the way that they're going to work on his jaw. I never really understood why he wanted to undergo such a heavy procedure for something 'merely cosmetic'. But thanks to your videos I GET IT. He's not trans so maybe it's a little different, but he experiences a similar feeling of dysphoria and only now do I kind of grasp what he's feeling and why it's so important to him. He looked so relieved when I told him this (I explained gender dysphoria and he was like YES that's what I'm feeling, just without the gender issues). Thank you for teaching me Stef, it's made me a more understanding and supportive person.

Stef you are so beautiful in every way! I've enjoyed your channel over the past year+💜
I'm a mom to daughters your age and I have been so educated by you which I thank you for your time and great effort doing what you do. I adore you and your parents and happy you have the parents you do. Now even though my daughter told us she was gay whis is not exactly your situation, you have still helped my husband and I become educated on these differences our children can have and whenever they choose to confide in us, having info etc is invaluable so we can avoid being ignorant and hurtful to them, but instead continue to love and support them as they deserve and meet their needs.
I recall the only thing that upset me when she spoke to us was her safety, just as your mom said in the video you did in the past couple weeks you three did together. Your parents are wonderful and I hope I am enough support and help and love to guide my daughter for as long as she is so young until she is flying away from the nest even further lol. Okay I've rambled quite enuf now sorry hun, I m just so happy you are happy and my daughter is happy and the beginning difficult adjustment period. Something I explained about my being so emotional with her was, she had had several years knowing this about herself and we have had five minutes lol I hope that makes sense😊 but we are closer than ever being able to be open about things with each other. And the love in our whole family is better than ever and I'm so thankful.
So I really wanted to just thank you for the very dynamically beautiful strong wise intelligent young woman you are and sharing yourself with us all!💜thank you to your momma also she is thee sweetest most understanding and loving it's phenomenal😊

First, it is incredible how different your face looks! You look beautiful. That surgeon is amazing. Hi Stef. I'm a bit of a lurker on your channel. I'm not subbed, but I've watched several of your videos. Watching them has been eye-opening for me. Although I am really liberal and have always believed in equality and body-sovereignty for everybody, before i started watching your videos I always had a secret transphobic streak. I knew intellectually that my transphobia was wrong but I could not shake the feeling of unfamiliarity the disconnect in human experience that I felt when I encountered a trans person. A big part of the problem was that I didn't know any trans people. Watching you has really felt like I have gotten to know you and you have helped me to feel emotionally what I knew intellectually. I feel an empathy that i did not before. I'm sorry for my thoughts and I thank you for lifting my blindfold.

I really don't think you should get cheek implants, your cheeks are fine as they are now and they stand out a lot when you smile, if you get them done in a future, your cheeks will look fine when you're not smiling but if you smile you'll look really weird, a friend had them done and she actually had to get them removed cause they looked way to big when she smiled, that's what happens when you get cheek implants when you don't need them.

If you decide to do it make sure that you do your research, ask as many people as possible about their experience and remember that swelling doesn't go down for at least a year it takes a while for your skin to become less swollen, to relax down again and become what it's actually going to look like.

    • @linkin2363

It is definitely something to consider. A good doctor is incredibly important, but even if you have the best doctor in the world something could still go wrong. Even something that's not on the doctor's behalf. If having plastic surgery would not significantly improve your quality of life, you probably shouldn't get it done.
