In my opinion, the 1936 knucklehead was on the most prettiest made motorcycles. It was an innovator of style and Performance

Awesome video, ive recently found a new interest in vintage bikes. I always wondered why some people preffered vintage over modern. The history of the motorcyle, that you added in this video, gave me a clear perspective on the stories, styles, and gradual progression of the motorcycle. I truly enjoyed this content...💯

Yeah it's such a fun thing to get into. So much to learn and so many different styles. What kind of old bikes do you like? Have you ridden an old bike before?

I had a 1959 BSA 650 that I bought when I was in the US Air Force in 1974. It was semi-chopped, didn't have the original tank, had extended forks, etc... all that cool Easy Rider stuff. I always wanted to restore it to original, but it got stolen out of my parents garage. I miss it to this day!

My first road bike was a Norton 850, I wish I had never sold it but it was eventually replaced by a BMW K75 which I love, I wish I could afford another Norton because nothing could ever replace it totally.

I appreciate how much your triumph bias comes through in all your videos as I have a similar bias for my CB450K4, but in this video you really did overlook some beautiful bikes such as the Ducati Desmo 250 and the Aermacchi Ala D’oro and Ala Verde.

Good selection. Those old bikes aren’t mechanically sound, but when it comes to visual perfection nothing touches them. I’d have added a Brough Superior and an Excelsior, but if choice is limited to 8, they’re a good selection.

Triumphs and BSA's were pretty classic looking with they're teardrop tanks of the 1960's and 70's, and the 1950's,but the peop[e back then knew a good looking bike would help sales.

Ducati ? Moto Guzzi ? Love the videos, and mostly I agree with the great looks of Bobbers / Classic British Cafe Racers. However, through the years, Japan produced some darn good looking bikes that fit the category of beautiful vintage like Yamaha 1957 YD-1. Would love to see videos on Vintage Japanese, and Vintage Italian. Thanks!

Good personal selection. my favourites were the Sunbeam, the Crocker and the little Russki, In 55yrs of riding I have ridden all the classics but have always been drawn towards the oddballs. Currently restoring a 1972 Pleneta Sport the Russian attempt at a performance two stroke. Very few of these ever made it to the UK, so there is a real challenge

Back in '95 I bought a '50 Triumph Thunderbird project. It took me over five years to do a concourse restoration on her. It was thunder blue. I won first place in my class at Mid-Ohio swap meet and bike show. I still can't believe I sold it. It's the one that got away.

Crocker's where a limited edition overhead valve motor that was stuffed into proprietary cycle parts Harley-Davidson truck rocker court for patent infringement and brought a knucklehead into the court and Crocker bought a crock Arista court and the judge took one look at the Harley and told Harley you should be glad that Crocker isn't suing you they were roughly $100 more than a top-of-the-line Harley-Davidson which was about a week's pay back then

Why would you leave out the HD Sportster XLCH ? It was the meanest looking dog on the block, you could pick up more girls with a Sportster than any other bike in the 1960's. The late 60's TV series "Then came Bronson" show cased the XLCH. If you were young and wanted a motorcycle, that was the show to watch.

What? no BSA's.... The Triumph Bonneville is the best looking in this line up, although I love the old bikes. I am watching a 1929 BSA 350cc single cylinder with a think a three speed transmission on E-bay. I think it would be a good bike for the Cannonball run across the U.S. in the future. because it is a nice simple design and has a transmission.

There is nothing uglier on a motorcycle than "tip over bars", I have never seen them on a pre 70's Triumph TR6 or Bonniville and don't expect to because they just don't tip over when you park, and you couldn't push one over in a slow turn.
