Secrets Maroma Beach Pool, Beach, Bordeaux, and Himitsu

This is our two first full day at the resort. We enjoyed the pool on one day and beach on the other. The pool is beautiful with lots of activities and servers around this area. There are 2 pools next to each other, one more relaxing and the other more active. The beach was also beautiful. As a Floridian, I have spent many days on beaches and this one reached my expectations. the beach was long with beautiful sand and water. On these two days we ate at the French restaurant, Bordeaux, and the sit down Japanese restaurant, Himitsu. Bordeaux had a variety of options that were absolutely delicious. At Himitsu I enjoyed sushi which was fresh and delicious as well.

Would you recommend this resort? Are the swim out pools cold? Trying to decide between here and going to secrets akumal. We are planning October after rescheduling from this month due to the high Covid rates. How easy was their Covid testing? Thanks!

This was in 2019, so before Covid so I’m unsure about that but we also went in October and it was warm and the pools were refreshing. I would 100% recommend this resort, not a huge resort but plenty to do for the 5 days we where there.
