Im not German but as much as i know that kind of blinking 1:42 is prohibited on German autobahns .. as i know from a friend its not legal to force the driver in front of you ( ofc i may be wrong , this is what i know )
Its perfectly fine to use the lights to make sure the driver ahead knows someone is approaching with higher speed. It is very difficult to judge a cars speed in the mirrors. In this case he was using the left lane and by law he has to use the right lane if free, to give way for faster cars. Many people use the left lane because it is easier to not change lanes and he probably did not realise a faster car.
The first acceleration is slightly uphill and the second acceleration half way through the video is first straight and then slightly downhill before it goes up again. So the real acceleration is somewhere in the middle. But when are you ever in a situation where the road is perfectly straight. That’s why I think these numbers are from a real world situation and therefore very representative. You will need to hit each gear perfectly to be able to keep up with an automatic, the slow times of automatics are a things of the past. Do you drive a crossland? Hope you enjoyed the video!
@@TopSpeedBrothers Yes, i drive a Crossland with the same engine but manual gearbox. I enjoyed the video because is the first post with 1.2 Turbo with 130Ps and 230Nm top speed. I can't try top speed in my country because speed restriction is 130km/h. Thanks for post.
I just got mine a month ago and to be honest I am happy with it, especially since you cannot complain at what you get at this price range. Sure if I had 40.000 Euros I would have gone for a mercedes cla or glb, but for the money I paid for my crossland I am happy. The gearbox is slow but you do not buy this car to race... as a big plus the tech on it works great parking sensors and camera and driving aids work great, automatic headlight and rain sensor, and so on, for the price you pay for it you get some bang for your buck
You are right people need to compare apples with apples. The crossland is at a price point where no other German car manufacturers can compete, you would have to go second hand and again you Can’t compare a new car to a second hand one. It’s a totally different experiences. The crossland dose what it’s target audience wants well, for a fair price. But that said many Asian competitors are building great cars and so dose Peugeot (the sister car). For me the opel is missing something to get me excited. It could look and feel more special, maybe it’s to German.
How do you rate Crossland on the highway? Some people complained on the unusual high noise level due to wind and unstable handling. For the noise level I read reviews that above 100 km/h you can not speak with your passanger, like someone opened a window.
@@dragangasic5680 I found it a bit noisy at above 120, not as noisy as opening the window but indeed not as silent as in a mercedes or audi for example. But I only found it an issue if you are going on a highway in total silence in the car, if you have moderate music it is just fine.
Not only is it slow its also shift points are badly calibrated. Overall a fitting gearbox for the rest of the car 😂 Lack of power gets compensated with high fuel consumption, you can see the fuel gauge go down during the 10 min drive.
wow nice, thank u for this video !!!!
Im glad you enjoyed it! thanks for watching
Wich one should I get ,Cross or Grand ??
I’d like to know too
I am writing from Turkey Crosland car on a flat road vehicle toward the right orientation problems with information Opel Does not solve this problem?
I thought the gearbox was broken in 1.st gear cause it just didn't shift 😄
Haha yes not what one would expect from a brand new car.
But I wish it was the cars only problem.
@@TopSpeedBrothers Gear changes in Crosslands and Grandlands are sometimes weird, it's a feature.
I just love the speed thanks mate 💪
Glad you enjoyed it.
thanks for watching
At this video, I want to mention that your maximum speed was exactly at 206 km/h.
grandland x 1.2 130 hp 8 speed automatic better performance ?

Weight almost 1300kg with driver, 130 horses and 11 sec to first 100km/h, nice Opel🤣 100 horses per tone
not quite the golden ratio
the gearbox when changing gears is so slow but it's okay it grows well
Yes wasn’t a fan of the gearbox either it could be much better
Ma quanti CV?
tires looking sus
Pretty new tyres. But the cars are a bit light on the back
0-100km/h in 8.4s and 0-150kmh in 11.9s is not bad at all. Is better than in manual

This gearbox same with peugeot eat6 ? Or not ? Because it looks slow than eat6
Yes hardware wise it is but it’s very likely that Opel adjusted the software to their liking.

Probably was close it, we got lucky this time 🤪
It takes effort for Crossland X to reach 240km/h

my husband opel crosslan 130 km 1.2 he was driving 210
