I thought about buying the Elsys Antenna and replacing my Chester Cheetah SDX75 Gateway/Modem and Waveform 4X4 QuadPro Antenna with it but I've already put a lot of money out on those two. The Chester Cheetah Gateway/Modem's are also Upgradable you can Upgrade the Chips inside them but you can't do that with an Elsys Antenna which is crazy for the Price you would think they would allow you to do a Chip Upgrade in them. I'm not bashing the Elsys Antenna it seems like a really we'll thought out and really well made Antenna but the fact that you can't Upgrade the Chip in it and the fact that they don't seem to be worried about making an SDX75 Version of the Antenna concern's me especially for the Price that they charge. Hope you have a good Holiday!
I don't think it's possible to have a chip replacement strategy. It's just to make you feel better about investing, they can't do it. If you look up the pinouts I'd be very surprised if they're pin compatible. The proper way to put in a chip like this is to mount it to the PCBA like Elsys did. Did they use an m.2 board? Check out the video I did measuring against those. They just weren't as fast although that may have been related to the processor. I'll ask some engineers that I know that work on products like these and see what they think
Elsys AmpliMax Ultra fas.st/t/iF7xo6mM
Waveform 4x4 MIMO KIT amzn.to/3s9i9SY
Waveform Quad-Mini amzn.to/3VV0WbJ
Didn't know I'd made an antenna. My last name is Elsy 😂.
Great job Michael! 😅
@PeterC408 🤣🤣
Can you make a video explaining the “Advanced Cellular Metrics” in the T Life app?
