So true in those tips! Bringing your own food and water is a game changer for sure. I was across from a food truck last summer at a busy event and couldn't even get to it. My friend and I even tag teamed with our booths next to each other. She barely got us drinks lol.

I was a furniture vendor in an antique mall for several years, but this will be my first event with my crocheted items. Excited and nervous as heck!!

Also…here’s a tip: I recycle the large handle bags I get from yarn hauls at craft stores. I just cover them in my own branding and they look so cute! ❤ Customers love them.

Thank you so much for this helpful video! I really wanna sign up for a craft show here so I’m preparing in my head but I’m still thinking about it too much I guess. Will I be able to socialize with everyone? How will I react if too many people try to negotiate on the price? (people from my country do that often). And even Are my crochet works good enough to sell? I think I should just start and see how it goes 😅😊

What stresses me out is the possibility of someone slip pocketing smaller items like Keychains or scrunchies or smaller stuffies) from my booth without paying while I'm distracted or something. Do you set up your booth in a way to help prevent this (smaller items more near you)?

@camrynscutecreations how do you handle sales tax for cash sales? It's easy to charge sales tax with square for card sales but if you are selling an item and they are paying cash do you charge them tax and have to provide change in coins or do you take the tax out of your profit so you can make change easier in bills?
