Hello!!!! Ugh! My internet wouldn’t let me comment🤦🏻♀️🤣 it’s so good to see you! God bless you my dear Lady. Thank you for all the information you share 🤗🌺
I don't use frost cloth at all. This solution does not frost proof the plant. It just makes the plant grow stronger so it's able to better withstand the elements.
Very interesting video Liz, your plants are beautifully coloured. Autumn here (Waikato, NZ) so I will try and get some Seasol and try it out ..had no luck today but am sure I will find it or a similar product somewhere. Thanks again for an interesting video.
Any brand of seaweed solution will do. We have the same season and this is the best time to give them a little helping hand to prepare them for winter.
Hi Liz, I have been watching your videos tutorial on succulents since I just started loving to grow succulents. You have superb collection! I will try this seaweed solution this spring. Btw, I live in NC, USA and we are soon entering spring. Do you use this seaweed solution for your cacti as well? TIA

Thanks for the info. I just soaked half of my Succlents in soil wetter. It’s a big job. Thanks. I will now wait for two weeks to feed them seasol conditioner. Btw where did you buy that watering can/hose? Looks very effective and handy.
Hey Liz!! I’ve been trying to find something like seasol soil wetter in the states but is can’t find it. I bout a seaweed stimulator I tried to post a pic of it in comments but it won’t let me! Is there one you could suggest on Amazon that is comparable to the soil wetter you us?
Any type of soil wetter will do. Seasol is just a brand name. You can have soil wetter with no seaweed also. It's just to break the surface tension of the soil.
Liz, always great information! My soil is compacted, do you recommend bottom water/soak or top water while doing a treatment of the soil wetter solution? Would I mix the seaweed fertilizer with the soil wetter at the same time, or is better to use the soil wetter on its own? I am stateside, I found some simular products at the hydroponics store. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge. Have a great week.
I find it best to use soil wetter when the soil is compacted. I tend to soak the big pots overnight watering from top a couple of times while sitting on the solution to push the air bubbles out. I have also combine the seaweed fertilizer with soil wetter on some instances.
So later on when you use the seaweed conditioner for a while, did you ever use it on the Mexican giant or Cante? I know you are super busy. But im so new. Looking forward to your reply. I live in the U S. and have to pay alot to get these products to ship from Australia to the US. But i do want to really get this down to make my succulents healthy. Please... thank you

Hello, I tried to use a seaweed mixture here in the US. 1st, just for indoor succulents and then I used it for outdoor ones and it killed a bunch of them. It turned a lot of them mushy and brown. Is it because I put top much or is it the combo of the seaweed in the water and the heat from the sun later in the day? In other words, should it be use only in the evening ?
It's always best to water when the temperature is 77°F or under. Late afternoon or night time is my preferred watering times. Seaweed solution had to be diluted in water and maybe a little less that the usual recommended ratio but in saying that, I've had a lot of times that I put a little too much seaweed solution and my plants just had some darker staining but none of them died. So I'd say it has a lot to do with the temperature or the time of day when you watered them.

Australia has very strict rules and regulations regarding import/export of plants or seeds. It all depends on the importing rules and regulations of your country. But nowadays, one can buy plenty online from other countries. Good luck.
For anyone that has severe bird issues that you need something now and while you apply these treatments/feedings until it’s ready and deters the birds you can get bird tape! It’s like a holographic looking shiny tape that you put around the areas you don’t want to birds to come near. For some reason it scares them away. It’s cheap and easy.
We have a large black bird here called Currawong and likes feeding on berries but unfortunately, they also like shiny objects. If one hangs holographic CD's and tapes, they'll actually come up and play with them.
