Wow. I didn’t know a woman’s annual exam included an internal exam of the pelvic parts. As a guy, I recently had one, and much to my dismay, my (female) GP included an exam of the ‘family jewels,’ etc. I really hadn’t expected this and had left my underwear on. In fact, I was uncomfortable just changing into the paper gown. I think I have a phobia of hospital gowns or something. So kind of like how you felt when your GP kept telling you to keep scooting down, when my GP told me to remove my underwear I became extremely uncomfortable. She then proceeded to examine my man parts. I only found out later I could have just said ‘no’ to any part of the examination. Being told to cough while a doctor feels your testicles is actually one of the most humiliating experiences a guy can endure … which you have to do for each one. The last time I had ever gone through this horror was at 16 when trying out for the football team. Now I was suddenly sent back into ancient history. I would have shrugged all of this off except the GP now wants me to return to go over the results. So now all that mental anguish has returned and won’t go away. So I wanted to see if examination of this area was included as a usual practice on females as well. And im really, really surprised to find out it is. In my ignorance, I had assumed only a visit to the GYN would involve such an exam. All the more surprising your video is from SEVEN YEARS AGO. Holy smoke. Well, thanks for posting your video. I guess at least both men and women are being humiliated equally. lol

Pap smears are NOT necessary. My wife is a midwife. Women’s chances of getting cervical cancer are less than 1%. Our society has brainwashed young women into thinking they need to undergo this highly invasive and humiliating exam - all part of the patriarchy.
Men invented this and brain washed women in believing pelvic and breast exams are all about medical. Why is it not important to perform visual examination on men yearly and with rectal exams but they will young 17 year old girls especially men doctors

Wow things are so different around the world...in germany we go once a year or even every 6 months! They esspecially recommend every 6 months when you use hormonal birthcontrol and they do a pap test at every check up...the regular insurance covers that. However they dont check your breasts until age 30, before that you have to pay for this yourself but i know a lot of doctors who check it anyway without charging you for it
this called bimanal exam they have useful information when they do this to you. Why did they do this, did find anything wrong inside vagina area no. They should done pap smear only, embarrassed when doctor did this to vaginal area. Hope this stays on video for long time. There is lot women talking about pap smear and doctors still do not have any idea what there doing.

It is totally ok to schedule an appointment with a lady! Doctors understand the need for patients to feel comfortable, just talk to your family doctor about getting a recommendation for a female Dr. to do the exam. It is very likely he will be totally cool with it.

Nothing. Have three sisters. All fine all healthy. They dont have annuals. Never did. So its up to the woman. Doctors make thousands off this crap. Quebec woman filed a class action law suit after 800 woman were sterilized because of false pap tests that were manipulated on purpose. I am grateful for my sisters

Even though he is a guy, this is his job and he has examined countless women before you. Don't worry about it!
