Video was helpful! Would love to see an example of how you breakdown the package to the clients. Not the pricing how you separate it by package and add on options! Def revisiting my pricing module for 2024!

First I want to say you have provided so much clarity for me as I am beginning this journey. I have a question about cups. What if the client wants to use their own cups?

Hey Kaelin, I’m in the process of starting my own mobile bartending business. I’m learning a lot from your content I appreciate all the information. One of the things I’ve been trying to figure out is how to calculate the correct amount of liquor the customer should buy for each event. I see someone else commented this above hopefully you can give me some insight on this.

So I did create an alcohol calculator and it's on my website if you want to take a look.
      Pourspecialevents.com
But also I do a lot because I've bartended so much that I've seen the trends in what people do and don't drink.
Here is a sample of what I try and encourage couples to stick to:
      3 versatile liquors -usually (vodka / whiskey/rum)
Then 2-4wine options depending on how many of each color. In my area wine Is the least drank option when beer and mixed drinks are served.
Then 2-3beer options. I have keg trailers but I try to steer them toward cans or bottles if possible because the kegs get wasted if the time frame is just too short. Typically my kegged beer people are tournament or benefit people when activities are extended throughout the whole weekend.

Are you only a dry hire? If so, how do you work the benefits? Do you get a permit to legally sell the alcohol for the day or how does that work?

Starting out how hard was it to get the proper licensing and insurance? I’m starting to gather all information I need to start and for NJ I cannot find a clear answer on what I need.

Do you need a license to just serve alcohol as a private Bartender in Los Angeles CA

So I had one lead that wanted to get a bartender for their wedding and then at the last second after ghosting me because I could not get them to commit to a phone call they came out and said that they had a friend of the family that was going to bartend. How do I overcome this objection knowing that this person probably was not bonded and just probably had a basic alcohol beverage commission certification from the state of Texas? I tried to let them know that the liability falls on the person that is having the party and also the bartender if somebody happens to have something bad happen after the party related to too much drinking. I didn't know really what else to say.

Hey, Eric! I've seen in other businesses such as food caterers that offer bartending the bartenders make 80 and then keep all of their tips. For me I give much more. Your staff are the pillars to growing your company. Taking care of your staff and making sure they are excited to work for you will make your business grow exponentially! My bartenders also all keep their tips. They split equally based on the amount of tenders for that event. I can take on as many events as I have great staff for. That's how you can grow a company. People first!
