Last Monday I found a six week old female baby kitten in the backyard. I was just minding my own business. I had starlight a French bulldog out at the time I hear a little meow and I thought what the hell is that a kitten and I thought Oh God we got to get an kitten emergency and got starlight inside she was covered in fleas. I don’t think she could not survive, another week on her own, but we got her home this Monday. My mom was heartbroken. We gave her a second chance at life’s we named her Misty or Missy. And she’s all happy in her new home
I wish that local government would spend a little money with TNR programs, to avoid the tragedy of cats scrounging on the streets. Love the longer videos. Proud to support Flatbush Cats!
It's very important for all people to understand that we humans bred cats to be our companions. They can't make it without us. We have a species obligation to care for them.
God bless you for rescuing and caring for these cats. You really love ❤️ animals I pray that you continue doing this work for these cats 🐈 I have a cat.
FB: I love all your kitty videos. The "shorts," are too short for me. I am a monthly giver to your organization & I started because of the progress I saw you all make via longer videos. I cry, I laugh, I smile, my heart breaks watching all your videos. I just wish you had 1 million subscribers here. I also throw whatever extra $$ I can in addition to the monthly amount. I wish I could afford my own kitty, but since I can't (vet bills) I see you're doing a great job & I live through your stories. All of them are deeply felt. ❤ And Thank you, everyone at Flatbush.
Bless you and thank you all for your compassion, time, efforts and kindness towards all the kittens and cats. May our dear Lord shower you with funds and resources to rescue and home more homeless kitties.
If you don't have the money to donate, allowing the advertisements to run (before and/or after) helps. They get a teensy bit of money for each ad. Also, always let the entire video play. When people click off a video, the RUclips algorithm interprets that as people NOT liking the video and it is recommended less often. Watching the full video, giving it a thumbs up, and commenting, helps the video be recommended to other people. This in turn gives them more ad revenue and (hopefully!) more monthly donors!
I believe that sharing, overall watching the videos and commenting is also plenty! The video gets pushed to more and more people and it will reach people who have the financial situation in a condition where they can give some of it away. By commenting you're helping already, so thank you for that
Yep, this channel is probably large enough that they may also be getting Ad Sense revenue, so sharing and commenting might actually help get the channel more of that! :)
Your long form videos are what got me into the channel. They're go to videos when I'm getting ready for bed, and they motivated me to donate to Flatbush. I am always so happy to see them.
THANK YOU for donating, caring internet citizen!! I do want to let you know-- because someone did this for me-- that RUclips takes a whopping 30% (!) of these donations, so since then I go to the creator's direct links.

I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now and I wanted first of all to say thank you a million times for your wonderful compassionate work. I love watching your videos because of your rescues, your gentle, calm voice and the jazz music you always use. Your videos are soothing.
Absolutely love these kind of videos! I wish I could help you guys. But I have 21 cats. All rescues, and I help feed a small colony of cats where I work.
Thank you to your team and all your supporters for all the work you do. An unexpected side effect: I have adopted two very traumatized cats. Trying to teach them new sounds are not scary. They are very reactive to cat sounds, so I am playing your vids very softly and saying " its all right, its alllll right" They are starting to believe me. With your help they have come that bit further on their journey to calmness. Love and respect from australia
I love this. I’ve always been happy to be a monthly supporter just on the strength of your low-cost clinic, so seeing these videos is like a bonus. :-)
I love what you do and it is my honor to donate, SSI doesn't allow for a lot but every little bit adds up. I hope everyone who watches you videos helps me to help you ❤❤❤
Yes Will, this kind of video helps people see the array of rescue work and hear about the adoptions, as well as the return of unsocialized cats to their outdoor territories.
I absolutely LOVE these longer YT videos and the voiceover! The stories focus on hope and solutions and I fall in love with all the scruffy and lucky cats that are fortunate enough to get help. Even with the very tough subjects you always manage to respectfully discuss the root causes, difficult tasks and cases you face all the time. Keep them coming and I hope more people will learn from them about the problems & suggested solutions from your point of view.

I’ve really been missing your longer videos so was so happy to see this on my front page! But I understand your priority is cat rescue not content creation.
Love the short multi-cat update videos, but I do also enjoy the longer individual rescue stories that go into detail about a specific cat or cat family!😊
Metaphor reminds me of the old man on the corner who gets admitted to inpatient because everyone thinks he's a crazy old dirty bum, but he's really really rich in heart, experience, and wisdom. Bless all the seniors ❤
I've really missed seeing more regular videos from you. Please start posting more. Obviously you're incredibly busy but it really helps to see these stories and fall in love with all these cats - especially the older ones who always touch my heart so much.💖😭
Oh dear, it’s been a while, you were doing more Shorts recently. The stories of developments in individual cats, especially the ones who are seniors, hit the nerve. Keep us posted and inspire people to become fosters / donators.
Yes more of these videos. Please always show the kitties after they’ve received medical care. As a monthly donor, that means a lot to me. ❤❤❤
me, too! it makes my heart so full & makes me so glad to be a monthly donor. i love the positivity & "solutions-only" approach.

Yes. I thoroughly agree.
It would be such good value for government funds.
They're too busy funding other things that "matter just as much"
Why do that when they could take contractors to lunch and dinner everyday instead 😂
They truly do not care.
The longer stories are great! Thanks for all you do😻
Moped, Dirtbike, and Vespa are great cat names!
