There's a great video of Jacoby Shaddix, who wrote the original, listening to this with Ronnie. Ronnie is visibly shaking from the nerves while Jacoby is bowled over by how good it is.
Ronnie used 25 minutes on the raw singtrough. The song is actually by request from PR for their anniversary. They asked 3 artists to make a rendition of it. You should also see the video where Ronnie plays the demo for PR for the first time when it still was just basefile. He is so nervous his hands actually shakes
As an Aussie, this was my introduction to this song. I had never heard of Papa Roach and had certainly never heard the original of this. So after this stunning song I went back to listen to the original. It was definitely a song of its time, fast and aggressive. This is like a grown up version. I love Ronnie, I adore his amazing musical brain and wish mine was like his. This is just beautiful!
The original is a kid who is in a broken home with a mother who is either gone or not present and doesnt know how to get help so they rage and think about ending it. This is an adult who has tried their whole life and is pleading for help before they do end it.
Ken you really nailed this reaction. I couldn't have said it better. Ronnie is in my opinion one of the greatest artists of today....his reimagined songs are all great.
I am dying to hear his full vocal range. His voice, tone, pitch, harmony all flawless. Vocalists with this many abilities will be forever loved. Not only do they grace our ears with their talent but the caress out hearts and embrass our souls.
The muses were 9, this is just a sextet. The visual of the grey, crumbling city all around him until the piece hits that crescendo where the emotion shifts from desperation to the angry and frustrated but defiant mood of the ending is a perfect metaphor for reaching the edge and finding the determination to pull back from it and put oneself back together through sheer force of will. As for nobody asking for this song, well, Papa Roach asked for it and we would have, had we known how much we needed it, which speaks volumes for the artistic bona fides of Ronnie Radke and Falling in Reverse.
Love the song,i feel like the original was the teenage anger, and this is more a song for us adults heeling❤️ And ronnie really makes you feel the lyrics its hits so hard. Great reaction, you should see the video when Ronnie is showing Jacoby from papa roach the song. Jacoby loves it:)
I never paid attention to the lyrics in the original, but Ronnie makes you feel them. You are in luck, Ronnie played an unfinished version for Jacoby's reaction, it's on RUclips.
The teenager in me still screams along with the lyrics, the way Jacoby did back in the day with Papa Roach. Today's me, however, just feels so much more with the emotional 180° turn Ronnie gave this song. It's the version of this song I didn't know I might have needed. My deepest respect and most of all thanks to Ronnie for this stunning piece of work! _____________________ _"Sometimes we laugh because we're sad or to hide our frustration"_ - from *Gacharic Spin* -「 I Wish I 」 🎶✨
Btw I wanted to come back to this to add this comment. There is a reactor that is also a music producer and he plays Ronnie’s very strong scream alone. He drops the music out and you can see and hear the layering. It’s amazing even with no music. He captures what “not being fine” perfectly.
There is a reference to System of a Down when they sing “self righteous suicide, I cryyy, when angels deserve to die” and it’s at the last “cut my life” part. The chords match up perfectly and the angels are crying.
Sorry for my English taken from the translator. Papa Roach's version was the version we needed to hear as teenagers and Ronnie's version is the version we needed to hear as adults.
I've said before, that Ronnie just roared for a whole lot of people in this song. Because how many of us are living in a crumbling world? Too many, and those voices are never heard. Ronnie made you stop and listen with this rendition. That level of vulnerability is shocking and breathtakingly beautiful.
This video is a bookend to Watch The World Burn, in which Ronnie's rage burns the world. This is the ashes left over, for the rage has been vented and he can find the grief within and in facing the grief and trauma the healing can begin.
The way Ronnie performs this song burrows into your being. I don't know about anyone else, but this is very difficult to take in if you are suffering from depression. It has the similar effect as The Drug In Me. These songs are like a moth being drawn into a flame. Beautifully heartbreaking.
For me, it was liberating as well as devastating. I had to face some stuff I had been avoiding and it was easier to do with the storm of tears washing out the venom. I am going from reactor to reactor as a sort of exposure therapy as well, and watching others being impacted by the song sort of validates the commonality. It's not just me, many of us are hurting.
I've seen a comment on other reactions of this that I find to be very fitting.. The original is the teen and the reimagined is the person in their 30s...
No big deal but Ronnie's last name is prounced Rad-key. Jacolby Shaddix the lead singer Papa Roach loved this. You should check out the making of Last Resort Reimagined it is incredible. Its on you tube. Great reaction. Oh this is the sequel to Watch the World Burn.
To be honest, this version is better with orchestra, video, and the masterful singing by Ronnie... a total masterpiece of this version. This was more of a feeling of depression that everything is fine, but the other one by Papa Roach was more from anger and out of control feeling.
@@davidgessin-mccully3919and they already disrespected the artist by not even doing an ounce of research on how to pronounce the name. so yeah, i’ll be an asshole to another asshole 😂
@@pedrino321 Now we’re in agreement you’re being an asshole and I’ll definitely agree to that he made a mistake and I bet never again after getting into the comment section and you’re ready to string him up like you know Ronnie personally and have to protect him from a mispronunciation of his last name. When you found either FIR or ETF did you pronounce it correctly or was it after he cleared it up? I think I have an easy ass name to pronounce correctly and people still get it wrong it’s not disrespect it’s a mistake all you have to do is correct them you don’t need to break out the torches and pitchforks and be a dick.

Papa roach
@@jmackott5225 Jacoby is the lead singer of Papa Roach so your "correction" wasnt needed. LOL!!!
PaPa Roach was asking for a anniversary cover of this song and Ronnie’s show him his version - Jacoby loved it! I love it!❤
Okay maybe it is the cover/Reimagined version that no one asked for but it's also the one that we all needed
Papa Roach asked 😂
@@CineQu Right?!
Rad-Key. That’s how you say his name. Nice reaction 👍🏼🔥
Thank you for correcting him 😂 it was killing me!
I searched the comments to see if someone corrected it lmao I’m correcting it out loud 😂😂

One word.. Powerful! His voice, the music, the emotion! The message.. Everything about this is so powerful!
So much more emotional than the original. The response of fans have been mostly positive. I love it 😊❤
He also got the song done/recorded in 20 minutes. His vision was there and he executed!
All his little smiles at Ronnie slaying notes was heart warming.
Ronnie Radke
Pronounced ( Rad-Key )
@KipDrordy666 yeah, that was driving me crazy too.

I may be addicted to the goose bumps and visceral feelings that great music creates..

Check out the guy who wrote the reimagined version and played the piano for it. His name is Sean Rooney.

Beautifully put.
Should watch the live version of "Watch The World Burn" it's one of the best performances ever of Ronnie!
High quality Plus vocals... Very nice 👍

Great reaction! Ronnie is a phenomenon! Please react and the athers reimagined songs. Im not a vampire revamped. The drug in me is reimagined
Those buildings are actually falling-in reverse.

6:12 hey Ken, Soundcore Stems actually has isolated vocals (its not my channel i wasn't asked to promote them) Great reaction!
Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach reacts to Falling In Reverse - "Last Resort (Reimagined)" he shares the unedited version here
Yes, the use of his vocals to express emotion is very powerful.
"that scream that is on the edge of vocal destruction", maybe is the vocals of destruction that happens to be sung.....
🔥❤️🤘

Love this..... volume low almost muffled. Still Ronnie Rad-KEY, :)
Please react to Falling in Reverse "Watch the World Burn"!
Ronnie is just a living God/Devil
His last name radke like rad-key
I wanted to hate this because I love the original so much, but it's so good.
The video itself is the devastation left from Watch the World Burn and then all the destruction and world burning is undone like it never happened.
Falling in reverse, Coolio cover gangsters paradise 😂
