Thanks Jennifer! Love your show. Please pray for me currently in hospital having bone graft, plates and screws in right upper arm from bad fall. Still watching 🥰
This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for! Thank you for sharing. I love the toned down red to the light gray. I love everything you did here. Thanks for sharing!
I’m looking at all the possibilities for this treatment, and I love your idea of starting with black. Thatssomething I’ve not considered, but now I feel is so important for the aged, distressed look. Many thanks!
I've installed this "brick" in my basement kitchen and did some texturizing/German Schmear on it but I'm still not satisfied. I am So happy to have found this tutorial because this Is the look I've been going for, I just didn't know how to get there. Thanks!!!!
Thank you! It's a great tutorial and I had very good results! Only I was able to skip a step after the dark grey wash. The wall texture I bought, the same brand as yours, was already premixed to a thick consistency so it could not be applied with a roller. No problem, I just smeared it on with the same tool to scrape it off with! I scraped off more in some areas and left a little more in others. I applied it to a smooth stacked stone fireplace cause I did not like the orange colors in it. Wow, looks beautiful, same effect with less effort :) Now I'm going to do the same to the kitchen backsplash.
I’m about to do the same thing in my newly remodeled master bathroom. I’ve watched a couple of other videos and saw that they put a polyurethane coating over the full brick wall. Should I do the same with your process since it is going in a bathroom where moisture tends to stay? Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you😊
Just finished rolling the texture. Should you do 2 coats with the texture? Worried that the inconsistencies will be noticeable, but also don't want to lose to much of the brick. Thanks
You did a great job on this! My home is red brick, and I'm probably going to paint next spring. It's nice to visualize the change. Thanks for sharing!🍁
Just wondering-of the two techniques you used to age the brick paneling, which one do you like the most? I watched both videos and trying to decide on which technique to use. TY.
Jennifer, I love this technique. We have a brick fireplace. Question for you. Looking to add nightstand/ chest of drawers to our bedroom that has a Cherry sleigh bed . I do not want matchy matchy. What type of finish would you suggest?
To anyone trying this process, I followed step by step and the pre mixed stucco repair that she is using is not the same as in store, even though package is identical, word for word. The one she was using is thick and white, the one I used not as thick with grains of black in it and dried with a hint of off white. Same exact product but they must have changed the formula. Not sure if stucco paste would work better, don't know the difference. I might have to reroll the wall and then come back with the paste or joint compound instead. Anyone else experience this?
The best faux brick wall on youtube! Thank you.
I have watched over 20 different videos on this process. This is by far the best and not all the loud intros and BS lol! Thanks
I just LOL'd! Thank you, Logan!
Thanks Jennifer! Love your show. Please pray for me currently in hospital having bone graft, plates and screws in right upper arm from bad fall. Still watching 🥰

I love this! Do you think this technique would work on real brick?

I loved this video ! 👍
Great tutorial! Thank you !!
Looks fantastic! Thanks for sharing 😊
Very cool! ❤️🙌🏻 I love it! ❤️
Beautiful job! May I ask if your husband butted the sheets up to each to install or did he make cuts so no seam? Thanks.
Love it!!!
My arms would have fallen off doing all that! 😂
Thanks really cool thanks
Can you use any kind of brush? I love this. Going to do a bedroom wall.
yes, you sure can!
Great job
Love 💞 💘
Missed what was used as a base. Wallpaper? Fake brick sheets.
Liked it better without the last step. I did my brick wall and didn't do the last step. Butnice job if you like that look.
Jennifer Decorates where did you get those cool black nitrile gloves?
OMG! That was so amazing. I love it. Where do you get brick paneling? Home Depot?
Yes, I should have said that. 🤦🏼♀️
Brick panels??? I have a brick look around my fireplace but it looks like tile to me… do you know if your method would work on tile?
👌👌😃

I like the project but not the stucco patch.
👏👏💕💕💕
👍👍👍👏👏😁😁
What faux brick did you use on the wall?
Didn’t like the last layer.
Natural brick color it is more beautiful
Beautiful ! Thanks So Much For All The Details ! Penney C. #overbeingunderconstruction
