Pet Rescue Fundraiser Screen Printed Shirts Using AXEON™ Non-PVC Inks

To showcase our AXEON™ Non-PVC inks and contributing towards a fundraiser was our goal at a tradeshow several years ago. But it’s not that easy to come up with appealing artwork and a cause. So we tapped our artist-in-residence - David Edward Byrd, and asked him if he could create an original design for us. He immediately said "yes," and that he would love to create a fundraiser for two of his favorite pet rescue charities, Flying Fur and (flyingfuranimalrescue.org) and Pet Finder (petfinder.com).
Cotton Heritage (www.cottonheri...) graciously donated their amazingly soft cotton shirts. Anatol (anatol.com) offered to print half of the shirts on their equipment live at the tradeshow, with the help from Stevie and his team from Moment Screen Printing (momentscreenpr...).
We held a meet and greet during the show, where attendees could meet and chat with David and get their shirts autographed. He was quite the celebrity! People admired his iconic posters and were enthralled with the stories of each of the artists depicted. We raised a total of $1250 at the show and the proceeds were donated to the two charities!
