Hamlets uncle kills hamlets father (the king) and usurps the throne, forcing hamlet into exile, where he descends into madness, before coming back to reclaim the throne, during which everyone dies, it’s definitely hamlet with the ending changed, the elephant graveyard’s a metaphor for hamlets conversation with yorick

his energy is one half of his perfection. his other half is the timing of his quips. the little cut ins that he does to change the perspective. he's brilliant at it!

That was f***ing brilliant! It’s the best I’ve seen of him yet. Impressive how one guy can fill out that big a stage (a round one even) without a s**t load of props or a huge scenography! 👌🏼

yeah ive seen ONE horrible quality copy of this show. seeing it as it is meant to be, absolutely excellent! we need more proper comedy stateside. look up also sarah millican (nsfw) and michael macyntire (very sfw) for some wonderful laughs. top shelf stuff. huge energy

I have celiacs disease wich is a severe allergy to gluten i get bloated and diarhea and get incredibly sick
Gluten is basically what's in wheat, barley, rye and oats
Sorry it just pisses me off any time someone says they have a gluten allergy when they actually dont its people like that, that make it hard for people like cause people bully me for eating gluten cause they think im just a snob also im a single mum on benefits so trying to buy my groceries is difficult cause its so expensive because of people who either pretend to have an allergy to it or have it cause theyre trying to be 'healthy'

I just feel sorry that I dont have anyone to share with that will actually follow. Being Swedish, the language barrier makes it harder.
Get better friends, lol. No but honestly, I'm Swedish too and most people I know would be able to follow this no problem. When I saw Jimmy Carr here in Sweden the venue was sold out, people here like British comedy and language is not generally a barrier. Maybe for some people but not the majority. And my experience is people who do struggle a bit with English generally find British English easier than American, and Jack is quite posh so that doesn't exactly hurt.

One thing I cant stand, is when comedians involve the crowd! Loved Russell Peters till he changed his style and started doing it. I fear Jack might head the same way. I just dont find these sets as funny as relying on orated humour only.
That's a shame, I usually really like it. To be honest, I never even considered that someone wouldn't like it, but now I think about it, there can be some cringe moments. 😂
I do hope you still enjoyed the show. And you probably know them already, but just in case, I think David Nihill, Russell Howard and Steve Hughes don't do any crowd work.
This makes sense. It's hard to find comedians these days that don't do audience work tho, one of Jack's jokes actually talk about this!! That comedians get out of jail free cards is audience work, which is impossible when your audience are the future king and queen of England 🤣
