Why would the driver need the car? He should be in jail. If he bonds out make sure the car stays impounded until trial conclusion. Isn't it that simple judges? Get serious for the rest of us.

Great job Tampa! Nip these rascals "in the bud." One mistake guys, you should start treating arson like the crime that it is. Riots, "street take overs" and protesting all have been highlighted with fires being lit and nobody ever gets arrested for it. Lighting fires and feeding fires should also be a felony that is punishable by a prison sentence. Did anyone ever get charged with arson over the last few years, there have been plenty of fires started at these events, BLM, Gaza and looting parties? Don't let Tampa turn into NYC or worse Oakland.

@Jesse-qo9oj I used to walk everywhere and if that happened I would watch until I saw enough. Police in my town arrested everyone at a kmart parking lot whether they were legitimate shoppers spectators or participants. Made the news and the
Police department got their pants sued off and officers involved lost qualified immunity as well.

I think the best idea is to arrest those who are there, and get a warrent for their phone. If they were found to not be part of the group that was their, they would be released.
For example, it would be no different than getting arrested for being a passanger in a stolen car. Sure you werent the one driving it, but you were with the group and need to be investigated to see if you were part of it or not before released.

They should ban spring break everywhere, especially in SoBe. As a driver for one of these shitty internet companies that offer rideshares, I was working one night and a guy called for service, when I got there, he opened my door and shoved a drunk woman into my car, I didn't even know where to go. She went to the address that her friend had given was wrong, she slept for a while until I was able to ask her the name of the building where she lived and then I searched for it on Google, finally I was able to take her safely home. This happens all the time, the girl could have been raped or assaulted and she didn't even know what she did at the bar.

This is actually very sweet. The kids are not doing anything that hurts anyone. Its a good thing, it allows authorities to step in and discipline young people so they learn they must respect the law. This is so much better than whats happening in the rest of the world

I used to manage a warehouse. One Saturday night the kids were drifting in the parking lot. I went out and talked to one of the kids. He explained its better to drift in the parking lot than out on the street. I said" True. So I let them drift all they wanted.
