Hi Gaurav, to be very frank, I never tried in Google Spreadsheet. To my knowledge, few features in Excel and Google spreadsheets are different. So exact format in spreadsheet may not be possible

Data will not be deleted automatically once the month will be changed. We will have to do it manually. It would be better to create 12 sheets in advance, keeping the master sheet blank for future use. If you want to pick-up the names automatically, you will have to create a Setting Sheet, where you can put all the details of employees and can connect the Setting Sheet with Attendance Sheet through VLOOKUP

After that I had created nearly 10 more Attendance Sheets and with time all the formats got more advanced. I will suggest you to check my most recent Attendance Sheet. Recently I posted an Attendance Sheet on Google Sheets too and I bet that one is more advanced than this. Coming to your issue now: This format is just for one month and just by changing the month from the dropdown will have no impact on the data filled. The data will still keep on sitting over there. You will have to create 12 sheets for 12 months and 1 sheet for Annual in advance. Hope you are not facing any more challenges with the format

hi sir, i have question. please guide me. when one month attendence filled in the sheet and i change next month, previous month data carried in the next month. previous month data must be saved and when month changed sheet must b blank.
Muhammad, this sheet is just for one month. For 12 months, you will have to create 12 sheets. Just by changing the months from the dropdown, data is not going to change or vanish. In case you don't want to create multiple sheets, please watch my new video of Attendance Sheet. In the new format, there is only one entry sheet for 12 months.

For 12 months, you will have to create 12 sheets in advance. Just by changing the months from the drop down, data will not be blank. If you want the data to be blank, retained and a new sheet gets inserted, you will have to create Macros

To blank the data once the month changes, we will have to use Macros. In case you don't want to use Macros, create 12 sheets for 12 months in advance

You have 2 options:
1) Create 12 sheets for 12 months
2) Use Macros. When you will use Macros, sheet of new month will be create with a single click, once the month changes and data of old month will be saved automatically.

This format is just for one month and it will not get blank when the month will be changed. There is one video on my Channel by the name of, Most Powerful and Advanced Attendance Sheet. Just check that video once and you will get an idea on How to make the sheet blank with just a single click. You don't need to create new format again. Just watch the video and use Macros and your work will be done.

This format is just for one month. For 12 months you will have to create 12 sheets. In case you don't want to creare 12 sheets in advance, you can use Macros.
If you want to pick-up the names automatically, you will have to create a Setting Sheet, where you can put all the details of employees and can connect the Setting Sheet with Attendance Sheet through VLOOKUP

Once we put the attendance same attendance data is coming for all months. If I puting jan attendance it’s showing on Feb and dec too
For 12 months there will be 12 sheets. This format is just for 1 month. Create 12 copies of blank sheet and change the months from top. Just by changing the months, data is not going to erase as I haven't used any Macros in this format.

This Attendance Sheet is for just one month. So the data will keep sitting in case the month will be changed.

if you change the month after putting some marking on the day. marking like "A", "P" etc... still be there bro ahaha
It will be there. You will have to blank the sheet/cells before entering anything. There's no reset button that the data will be blank automatically.

There's an error, If we put "P, A, H, PL" in Jan 2023 then we jumb on Feb 2023 , attendance showing in the same column.
This format is just for 1 month. So data will keep sitting regardless you change the month or not. Providing the link of another Video on Attendance Sheet. In this format the Data will be blank and the old data will be saved in new sheet.

Hi Sunish, first of all thanks a lot for loving the video and getting connected with the Channel.
This was the 2nd video of Attendance Sheet which I had posted on my channel. After that I had created nearly 10 more Attendance Sheets and with time all the formats got more advanced. I will suggest you to check my most recent Attendance Sheet. Recently I posted an Attendance Sheet on Google Sheets too and I bet that one is more advanced than this.
Coming to your issue now: This format is just for one month and just by changing the month from the dropdown will have no impact on the data filled. The data will still keep on sitting over there. You will have to create 12 sheets for 12 months and 1 sheet for Annual in advance.
Hope you are not facing any more challenges with the format
