Blood Stain Child at it's peak. So sad that it didn't last.

Their new stuff has been pretty decent but I do miss the inclusion of female vocals in their mix, but knowing how many times they've changed their members it won't be long till they do...maybe 😅

I remember first time listening to this and Epsilon back in 2014, Wish i could re-experience it, It felt so exalting.
These albums are the gold standard of the Trance Metal genre and should always be remembered.
Sadly, BSC is not that great anymore

I'm with ya. I like the Amateras era a lot more than Nexus through The Legend eras but yeah not the same band. They're stuck on this "we are sound innovators and will never stop evolving" type shit. but to me Idolator through Last Stardust is the defining innovative BSC sound that split them apart from other "trance metal" bands and other Japanese bands. They think needlessly complicated riffs, orchestral elements, and sporadic electronic elements is what makes them unique. I firmly believe tho the signature sound they developed is what made them unique. They honed in on that mix of trance and melo death fucking perfectly. I like every single bit of the Idolator - Last Stardust eras from the music to the lineups to the aesthetics to the graphics. Everything. BSC had a very distinct thing going on. I think even The Legend is an abomination. While I appreciate them revising songs it just was not a good execution. Even their production style has seemed to go downhill over the years. BSC's mixes sound flat now, especially the guitars, if you know what I mean.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. Another thing that annoys me about modern BSC is they take down certain videos such as O.k.e.@.n.o.S (i believe because of the backlash), the Last Stardust trailer, and some others. It also annoys me that certain songs are not Spotify. Last Stardust used to be on Spotify and isn't anymore.

@@anodetoodin I appreciate I'm asking almost a year later, but what were those deleted videos about that caused backlash?

Honestly I wished BSC had kept female vocals in their modern sound, would compliment their harsh vox, plus I'm not too big on their "cleans" in their new stuff 🤔
That being said, Last Stardust is deffo in one of my top fav tracks from them 👌

Last Stardust is the last BSC release I can thoroughly enjoy, everything that came after it is, like you said... meh.
Kiki was a perfect replacement for Sophia, things just didn't work out it seems.

@@Unexysted yeh there was some drama between Sophia and the band from what I remember 😅 sucks cuz Epsilon was dope and was eager to hear more in that style, but I have enjoyed their latest works and the last full length had some decent tracks, but personally nothing beats Mozaiq for me 🤔

I wasn't a fan of Sophia's deep baritone "opera" vocals.

I respect that but I disagree, the vocal lines fit Sophia way better, also because she probably wrote them.

@@DarkHazard I loved them, I think they fit the band's style perfectly. Kiki is great too tho, and from what I've heard on RUclips better live. She has really weird pronunciation tho, I can't really understand her without reading the lyrics, which is a bit of an issue.
