    Most fun light there is, that is great to edc. If you really use the light alot there are far better options to edc. But this thing is just a beauty with aux and anduril.

    Hmmm, Pocket clip actually ...clips to the pocket is a negative thing?? 🤔 And the sans-usb(C) charge port sounds like a plus to me and should to anyone who considers themselves even a novice flashlight enthusiast. Unfortunately it's going the way of standard transmission vehicles: They are more reliable, more efficient/economical, or really to sum it up automatics have very lil to no benefits what so ever over their manual counterparts, other than to enable laziness of course. Same concept with charge ports on flashlights, they are stupid and any self respecting person who actually uses their gear other than for reviewing purposes, who has even the slightest understanding of water intrusion would never want a point of failure on purpose integrated in their flashlight. I think this light is dope for not just catering to Amazon shoppers but actually "flashaholic" types as well. +1 for Wurkkos.
    😶‍🌫️👍

    • @torchesandtactical
      @torchesandtactical  Год назад +3

      Don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic light. I legitimately have over 10 of them. For the spring, how stiff it is and how tight the radius on the lower part of the clip is, lends it to not catch the pocket wire frequently, but not everything. Aside from that, the inclusion of a battery charger I agree is a huge plus, but Wurkkos has spoiled their customer base by throwing a charger on pretty much everything. If someone buys this and funds that it doesn't have charging capability (especially for a smaller cell) they might have to wait longer to be able to continue the use of the light.
      I'm with you all the way about the standardization of equipment for the flashlights, and I still prefer my "manual transmission" lights. I have plenty of bank chargers to keep everything ready to go. 😁

      Yeah, that makes sense. We have been considering doing a second video since they have been coming out with other options and colors.

    I just got one of these and functionally it is great. The UI, brightness, and the build quality is what I was looking for. But it is just way too small, and it is a bit awkward for me to use. I just got a Sofirn SC32 to replace it and it is a much better light for me! For EDC I am actually moving away from single AA lights even though they used to me my favorite form factor in a light. The smaller 18650's now are a better size for people like me with larger hands, and they outshine and outrun AA lights. I also wish the TS10 would have taken regular AA's. I am returning mine to Amazon! :(.

    There is more to size than length of a light...diameter has to be taken into account, also. You did not compare the TS10 diameter to the other lights...and it is larger in diameter. So, it is small...but not as small as several other lights in the AA space.

    • @torchesandtactical
      @torchesandtactical  6 месяцев назад +1

      I am fully aware of all 3 dimensions. I was clarifying on the height because you can tell it was the push that Wurkkos made for the TS10. Small TIR optics and no charging circuit lead to a very short light. Yes, it is nowhere near as thing as say, a Lumintop Tool AA, but it is shorter.

      You're joking, right? It wasn't ever intended to be like a pocket working light for ordinary users. It was designed to fit high output and enthusiast features in the smallest and most affordable package possible, a charging port would have added an extra cm or two onto the length and definitely added to the cost. It would have also been more difficult to waterproof. Nearly all of the target market already have a dedicated battery charger and don't care much whether we have to unscrew or not to recharge. Recharging method definitely is not the single defining factor of how good a light is.
