If you want to learn something new, just ask Naztazia!!! I just love her tutorials! I was struggling with making fringes and I thought lets look up Naztazia how she makes it and presto there we go, she makes it look so easy! Took away my headache at the same time! Thank you for all your great videos and lessons! With out you I would have never be able to Crochet ! Wishing you a Happy New Year 2023 🥂🎊🧶🪡🥰
It's January 24th 2024. I've been looking for a finish for a shawl I've made and the first option is gorgeous! Look forward to doing it. Thanks for your tutorials ❤ Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
Wow these are lovely, they would have been perfect for my blanket that I finished the other month, but spent hours looking (and trying a few that I just didn't like) for eventually settled on a rib looking border. But I'll definitely be giving these a try. Keep up the good work and keep inspiring, thanks Deby x 💜🐾
I love the first one (twisted) the best! My wrist gets tired, tho. I once made a floppy, cowl-neck neck-warmer out of a chunky 🧶yarn. And then I made a long twisted fringe border all around the lower edge of the cowl. The chunky fringe made a very cool-looking drape across the chest, shoulders and upper back. My daughter calls it the Octopus Cowl. Lol 😆
How do you read my mind Donna? Just finished a wrap that I want to fringe it…..it is fingering weight and not sure what fringe would be better? What a timely video. Thanks for an amazing video
I have a scarf made length wise. Any suggestions? I was thinking single crochet on those edges. Nice video. I like that you demonstrate all the different kinds.
Great tutorial! 🥰 Can you show us the best way to wash projects with fringe? No matter what I try, I wind up with a mess of frayed knots and have to replace them. 🙀 I know there's a way to take care of them! 😳 Please and thanks! 💕
Hand washing is recommended for any hand made item, especially something with fringe on it. However the first one, the twisted fringe, does very well in a washing machine on a delicate cycle.
Hand washing is recommended for any handmade item. Hand washing also avoids messing up the fringe. However if you prefer to machine wash on a delicate cycle, then the first (twisted fringe) generally holds up much better to machine washing.
Once you make your last fringe and attach it to the blanket with the stitch shown in the video, you could trim your yarn about 8 inches from the hook, then pull the yarn though the last loop. Then turn over the item, take a yarn needle, thread it with the 8 inch yarn strand, then make a few stitches on the back to securely weave in the ends.

Hi Donna - this fringe is so beautiful. Do you know if the twisted fringe will help flatten the curl of a Tunisian Knit Stitch blanket?
Thanks for sharing 👍and you are amazing 👏❤
Thank you for your kindness!
@@naztazia 🙂
For the third fringe you could use macramé knot for a more even knotting.
so say i wanted a 12in long fringe (first variation) how much would i pull the slip knot through initially?
Love these Thank you for sharing. Im curious as to what kins of yarn you are using in this video ? It looks wonderful to crochet with.

@@naztazia Thanks! I guess I need to be even more gentle when hand washing fringe 🤔
How do u keep the ends of acrylic yarn from fraying?
Please show us how to make a bag and book case
Hii... I am worried about one thing.... even though i make these fringes, will it stay the same after washing?

Can you do a puffin
What's a puffin? Do you mean a puffin bird or something else?
@@naztazia puffin birds
BUT WHAT DO I DO AT THE END OF THE TWISTED FRINGE?! How do I secure it? Please, explain it to someone who knits but doesn't crochet.

Can you go smaller
Yes, any size length of yarn can be used for any of these fringe pieces. Also, larger lengths can be used as well.
Jach book.
