I named my daughter Dahlia because is such a beautiful unique flower. Atleast for me. I always wanted to learn how to draw the flower but it looked so complicated lol but thanks to your tutorial, it's easier than I thought. Thank you.!
So sweet!
I am so grateful for this series. Stuck in a part of the country that is basically shutdown. Sigh. Your flower videos kept me sane! I learned new stuff and had a lot of fun. The result was so amazing! I couldn't stop looking at it! (Did I really just draw THAT?!?!) I turned it into a card for a friend.
I'm so glad! I love that you turned it into a card.
I love your tutorials! I watch them and think, "wow, I think I could actually do that!" You are so clear about what really matters and what we shouldn't stress about, and I appreciate the balance between the step-by-step directions and the overall big picture (specifically draw 2 rounded triangles pointing up, big picture this is the center of the flower that's not opened up). Thank you for all you share! ...and I say Dahlia the second way, Dall-yah with a short /a/ like in atlas. 😊💮
thank you for this tutorial I'm beginner at drawing this was so easy to follow .
Dahlia is the correct spelling
In indiana it is dah lee a. My dad's favorite. He was able to grow huge ones. Thank you for breaking it down for us!
This tutorial was amazing! I’m going to keep practicing the center, but I really loved the way you taught and I love the dahlia I drew. Thank you for making it so easy!
You put this series up 3 years ago but I just found you today. I have been going through all your videos today. Your work is amazing and you are an excellent teacher. Thank you for taking all the time to share your skills with us. Hopefully, I’ll make pretty work one day.

Dahlia’s are my favorite & I agree Doll-ya is the way I go but whatever way you say it. You helped me draw it. Love it. Thank you.
Amazingly creative. This looks beautiful... you simplified the complicated flower design.
I say it Dallia...the second way. LOL...it's a strange word to think about. 😊 Thanks for putting out this series!! ❤️
I absolutely love your tutorials! You make it seem so easy. And, your pronunciations made me laugh because I share those moments too! Thank your to being so kind in sharing these tips! Sending lots of love and peace your way. ❤️ 😊

My great granddaughter is Dahlia Rayne. Her name is pronounced "Dal yuh" she is a beautiful Mexican flower. I would love to draw her a large Dahlia to hang in her room but it's going to take a lot more practice. Your drawings are so great and you make it look so easy. You're very talented. Thank you fit the lessons.

For me it is day-lia, if that makes sense. Thanks for another great tutorial....now to try this one.
D-Ahh-Li-Ya (Dahlia). Nice video 👌
Love this 'Dahl-ya'
believe it's called a doll-ya spelled Dahlia . The flowers are gorgeous regardless of the way you say it. I used to do the same thing. We have a couple pots outback with bulbs I planted a while back that bloom every year. Flowers are huge and beautiful reds and purple with white. Love them! Thanks for the tutorial I need to try it out.
DAh-leea
Thanks for a great tutorial!
love your vids, in England we pronounce it ' day lee A' any how, you're funny
Is Dalia, is like a latin word. I love your draw, I will try do one too. 🙂
I like your drawing style
I LOVE THIS TUTORIAL MY NAME IS DAHLIA💜💜💜💜
Thought it was pronounced dallia and yes helpful video enjoy the floral illustrations! 💐
Dahlia Flower that You Draw Surely Looks as Beautiful as You Are Becca 😍🙏 &, I Have No Complaint @ All of the Way You Spell "Dahlia" (I'm an Indonesian-We Usually Spell it "Clearly-Include" with that "H" Alphabet Letter by Saying: "DAH(!) ... LIA") 👍
Love ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I pronounce it “doll-ya”. 😊
Rlly cramped up my hand
İn England it's generally pronounced Daylia but here in Turkey they say darlia! Lovely tutorial by the way 👍👍👍
Loved it watching. How to draw a Dahlisa

Here in Ireland we say Day lee ah Becca!!!
DAYLeeUh, is how I say it ;)
Dahlia
I found this to draw a Dahlia flower for my daughter Dahlia Angelis. Here in texas we say Dah-li-a. Or Doll-e-yuh Dahl-lia it’s not Dowl-yuh or daily-ya. She has told me how frustrating it is for people to say her name correctly. And wishes people would learn the correct pronunciation. Most of her friends call her Doll. And I call her Doll-baby or dollface
Dal-ya
Day-lia
Dallia - the second way you said it.
Ive always called them Day-lias
It is said with an A for Adrian sound . dAhlia
Dahlia, as in Dalai Lama
In india it pronounce as da hey lee a
Doll-E-a
daa-lee-uh
I pronounce it day lee uh
Just think of The Black Dahlia, that's how it's pronounced, without the black of course.
Dalliah for me but I’m French speaker...
Dolly uh
I’ve always called them dah-lia.
Dallia! But that’s because I am married to a Brit😎
I say Day - lea -ah
It is pronounced da-lee-uh
It’s dahlia
dah lia lol
I pronounced it dhalia
It's my nickname and I pronounce it Dallia not daylia
You pronounce Dahlia like you are saying Dallas, Dall-e-ia. The “e” is almost silent.
when i saw her struggling to pronounce my name-
im on my sisters account
Indian English is almost like dal-yah
Becca, a wonderful dahlia. The pronunciation depends on whether you say data or data, tomato or tomato!
I don’t think either is wrong.
More importantly,I need to make a comment about your sound effects when something appears on screen.
DISASTER!
Dahlia
daa-lee-uh
