As a crystal therapist I often get asked how best to cleanse, charge and connect with crystals. In this short tutorial I will step you through a simple technique for cleansing your crystal jewellery using a selenite tower. Selenite is super special not only for its healing properties but also as a self-cleansing crystal, meaning that it does not need to be cleansed itself but rather that it can be used to cleanse other crystals! Cool hey!
Selenite comes in many forms from raw to tumbled and carved, including selenite towers of varying sizes, sticks and selenite bowls.

Does selenite only cleanse the crystals or does it also charge them?
Hey there absolutely! Selenite is a great (and gentle) charging tool for our crystals - the best way to use selenite for charging is with a selenite charging plate - they are fabulous and quite easy to find (also affordable). I hope this helps! Tehla 🌸

Hi i just saw your video about selenite i bought one and i clean it White stage but why i feel so weird only when i touching it .can please reply back if that's normal
Selenite is self cleansing so no need to cleanse it, it also cleanses other crystals ✨ it might feel weird to touch if it is raw like the towers in my video, as it is very brittle and fragile and shouldn’t be over handled… if you have polished selenite like the bowls in my video they should feel more hardy and smooth. Also remember that raw selenite dissolves in water so try to keep it as dry as possible hope this helps! Tehla ✨

Hi Monica thank you for your feedback and for reaching out. Your hematite slab sounds wonderful, depending on its size I would suggest placing it somewhere close to the earth, as hematite is excellent for grounding and supporting the base and lower chakras. If you live in double storey home it would prefer the lower floor of your house, you could also use it to place your crystals on when cleansing and charging outside in either sunlight (cleansing, short time only) or moonlight (fine to keep out all night).
