Yeah that’s why I hit the mast with the chain shot. I thought they were an instant knockdown but I guess not. I need to get better at ship to ship combat lol
@@CaptainRolfey Sloop's mast requires 2 chain shots (or 3 regular cannonballs, i believe) to drop. All other ships' masts can be toppled with a single chain.
Hey if you do go back for the gold curse to make it easier I recommend using tridents (the big blue sticks) and blunderbusses instead of pistols and a sword. You can get a bunch tridents from treasuries (just put 'em in the merm statue and come back up). You can use the charge AOE for the regular skellies and it doesn't matter what you hit the boss with as it all adds up to the same damage per trident anyway. Using blunderbusses makes the fight way easier cause of their insane damage per shot. Just shove it in the boss's face and say goodbye lol. If you pair this with sword charge jumps (block+charge=full movement while charging + jump a bit after swinging = flying death, look up a tutorial if u need that's how I learned) for clearing the regular skeletons, it makes all boss fights acceptably painful. Nice video and love the master chier avatar idea when you talk but i think it would be better if you zoom the avatar so we don't see his legs, they don't move at all wich makes it looks kinda weird and it add's nothing at all, so zooming on the thorso would be a bit better i think
Yeah I'm still trying to figure out how exactly I wanna do this. The legs do move, but it's not very noticeable (and its jittery) which is unfortunate cause the trackers I have weren't that cheap. My only concern with having the vr more zoomed is is having it take up too much of the screen, but it's something to experiment with I suppose. Something to think about for next year I guess.
Yeah it sucks that when you do tales other players can still attack you and cause you to fail. At least there’s that new lobby type thing they added so you can do stuff like this without being sunk now
