I’ve seen the recover a tactical version with I guess they put a rail on top because you can use A rifle red dot and it sits out further on the gun so it’s a lot easier to use and the dots not so close to your face
On one of my glock 22's, I put the adapter that stabs into the bottom of the handle; and allows you to attach a standard AR pistol buffer tube.. and I just run a shockwave on that AR receiver extension.. I have to say, I don't really like it. It gets in the way of your wrist and you can't rotate the gun in your hand like you normally would to reach the mag release.. So I end up running the mag release with my left thumb, as I pull the mag/ not ideal. That Recover Tactical looks like it would be much better, and I may have to get one. lol
This tells me one thing on the "intended" use. The "brace" needs to be adjustable (fore/aft) for short/long forearms. Simple format just like a telescoping butt-stock (easy fore/aft button or whatever).
I run a Glock 17 in the recover tactical 20/20 with the mag holder u deff need the top rail adapter with a red dot but it is the best and lightest tactical brace for a pistol and u can holster it
These rigs are probably the only reason I would buy a Glock. I can see this being extremely handy with a Glock 40 10mm. Would make a pretty cool backpack gun setup. I could see trading a dedicated pcc for something like this.
You can build glocks that are fully decked out with RMR cut and windows/ serrations, ect.. extended controls, threaded barrel, TiN coated barrel if you want.. even comes with suppressor height sights.. All for under $400 at p80 builder.. It's hard to beat that price for what you get, if you want a nice glock.
The RT 20 os much better. The SI G Surf V2 is the best mount to use if you dont have a slide cut glock. It also has a charge handle that goes well plus the extra height of the optic is better. Grab the grip with 2 hands like normal. A foregrip wml and buttstock is the best way to use it but its an SBR. Its best to run a light laser at the bottom than an angled grip. The holster is best in brace mode and a sling is best in SBR mode. SBR mode it feels much more solid like if it were steel frame.
It would be nice to see the CAA v. 2. It has some good changes based on the website. I am considering the v. 2, but BDU has been out of it for some time.
The problem with this system is, (CAA MCK.) it only attaches to the utility rail. (Only one point of contact.) The rear of the pistol is free floating. The problem with this is, every time you rack the slide, you loose your zero. If you remove the pistol and reinstall it, you loose your zero. Basically, if you look at it wrong, you loose your zero. These are nothing more then expensive range toys. (Or maybe a sci-fi movie prop.) Save your money, don't take the bait. PSA is over. Thanks for the share!!
@@96kylarpccs are double or more the weight, much longer with the same barrel length and use more complicated or more recoil inducing semi auto systems. Pccs have their place, but it is nowhere near as easy and comfortable to have under a jacket for long periods of times.
@@devinkrum3768 I got an XDM 5.25 for $340 with 4 mags, 2 have the extended +2 plates... and I gotta say, it's pretty sick. lol.. I sold my old XD's as a pair some years ago. They're completely different products... That on the base level do the exact same thing 😅 Still not sure which I "prefer". But I think one micro Roni is enough, and if I were to get something else, it'd be the Recover. Wish they made them for the P10 line
Please read the manuals throughly before you go infront of the camera. Better and less confusing reviews elsewhere. Love the 20/20, will go nicely on my G17L 6.02" barrel 👍
I've been wanting to get the recover 2020 with the upper rail optic mount. in my mind thats an awesome cqb platform
Fast forward to the mck gen 3 and now you can use your red dot on the gun and use the mck gen 3 chasis.

I run a light on the rail on my Recovery Tactical. It puts my support hand a little farther away from the bore.
You can get a brace on the recover tactical and it can wrap around your arm as well

I got a Roni G4 for my P09, luckily I don't have any SBR stuff to deal with here. I quite like it and it wasn't very expensive.
Wow I didn’t know they made these for anything other than P320’s and Glocks lol.
@@DIYDad1 i think roni, micro roni, and mck are all different.

The roni is similar to a smg 9mm in the right hands!

Good video work, still no definitive conclusion in your PDP optics plate flaw theory. Good video though on the topic you did cover.

CAA MCK GEN2 FOR THE WIN
get the mag pouch on the "recovery" tactical and it will solve your "real estate" problem
Dammit i wish id bought one when this video came out now the recover is 300

The recover tactical has a slide lever that attaches to the back for racking the slide and they make a grip that attaches to the front also.
Just by a decent pcc then

Don't hate me for the question. But will the brace work for the Springfield Xdm.
I have no idea if either of these companies make a brace for an XDM. But neither of the models shown will.

It’s Recover Tactical. Not Recovery Tactical. 🤷
Thanks, that's what happens when you borrow stuff instead of buying it yourself 😅
