Look here. The problem is the Washington defense is absolutely horrible. Jayden is looking good so far. I have to think Jayden has to beat teams just by scoring every drive. Imagine if the damn defense was able to get three and outs consistently. I think the defense will lose a few games by themselves. So I can see Adam Peters building up the defense through the NFL draft and getting this team consistently winning next year. Adam Peters has nine draft picks at the moment. I'm guessing they will have 10-12 picks before the next draft. I think Jonathan Allen will be traded before the deadline. Not opposed to a great season now though. Fans of the team, we are just wanting consistency, knowing this is a rebuild from owner to GM down. Us fans have been pleasantly surprised so far. It is early, but we can already see progression of the franchise.
To be fair, we'd be naive to think they were gonna be able to rebuild everything all at once. Next draft we'll fix our defense i bet
Defense is bad bad, maybe the worst. Trading Allen would be a smart move
The expectation was a more competitive team, but also a team picking in the top 5 in 2025.

JD isn't listening to talking heads. JD is nothing compared to RG3. He plays from the pocket. He can read defenses and he's a much better passer than RG3 ever was. JD has a better owner GM and stable organization. Their careers will have very different trajectories

This is the same guy who told us the Ryan Fitzpatrick was the missing piece in 2021.
Ryan could have been the missing piece. Remember he got injured in the first game and as out for the season so we will never know for sure.

This is all very Premature can we please just let the season play out at least till week 11 or 12 before we start gushing over this team and JD bc he is really good but Sam Howell was last year too in the beginning so let’s pump the breaks and just chill. Esp with this terrible defense

The Heisenberg uncertainty principle is amazing. You can’t know the velocity and position of a particle at the same time. We can see Daniels upwards velocity right now but are overestimating his current ability. Or do we see his current ability but are overestimating his upside this year. It is unlikely we are right about both.
