I think the way they designed Jessica Rabbit is ingenious. You know that if she were a face character that poor actress would be constantly groped by creeps. By making her a horrifying monstrosity, only the weirdest of weirdos would touch her. I’m also guessing because of the nature of the costume, she’s probably usually played by really thin men.
Let’s admit, if Disney made Jessica a live character then they would be get a lot of money! Oh no I just gave Disney more ideas to get more money and buy more of my favorite franchises! Noooooooooooo!
@@jfk1000 No... I think if they made Jessica a face character they would get complaints from parents (whether they had seen Roger Rabbit or not) saying that she was too sexualized for their "precious baby" to see. Remember when everyone thought that the word SEX was in two frames of the Lion King? Or when there was supposedly male genitalia on the underwater castle in Little Mermaid? Anytime Disney does anything vaguely sexual, the parents freak.
@@themisfitowl2595 death of a rabbit is kind of sexualized in the movie with her big Bost and big hips and but not only with the parents probably freak about that creeps as the comment said would probably be all over the worker so it's probably best she's not a face character
I actually think Jessica's design looks amazing! Given how disproportionate her cartoon body is, they really made her come together! I'm also an absolute sucker for anything Roger Rabbit so it's nice to see them give these characters some love.
I do have masklophobia and am trying to work past it so I can go to Disney one day. But let me tell you, doesn't matter if they're creepy looking or not, I once ran away from someone dressed as a slice of bread.
The costumes from the ice skating shows are the most terrifying! I’ve seen other videos of costume evolutions, and they can never get characters right for the ice shows.
Love to see a redesign for Woody and Buzz. I think both look very off and outdated. Especially compared to the Bo-Peep redesign which is more accurate to the TS4's depiction
Scariest character I’ve ever met was Rafiki from The Lion King. I met him back in 2014 and the facial features were just too much for me that I couldn’t even take a picture with him unless my aunt was standing with me. We were the last ones to see him for the day in Animal Kingdom. But the person in the costume made that experience good cuz they could tell how nervous/scared I was and they gave me a sweet “it’s alright” hug and held my hand for the picture. It’s just the mascot costume head was creepy to me.
The scar on ice was legit on point and the best version they have presented. And all of the Hades weren’t actually that bad!! The rest however scared the hell outta me!
I’d seen WDW’s ToonTown Stromboli in person I think as a kid. He was leaving, so I couldn’t go up to him but I was still happy to see him. It’s hard to be a Disney character and not have me like you.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the actor behind the Zombie Captain America? They're all great, but he's something else. If he started running towards me, I might actually believe that the zombie apocalypse happened.
For the Halloween season, some scary STAR WARS characters like Darth Maul, General Grievous, and other villains can appear at STAR WARS Galaxy’s Edge during the Halloween season!
I've seen a cosplayer once who had an INCREDIBLE Grievous costume, I think Disney could easily take some pointers from that person (or heck, even hire them!) I would also love to see Ventress during Halloween because, I mean, she's a sith AND a witch! perfect for Halloween! ...she should be a face character though. a mask would be way too creepy
2 things: the old Bo Peep costume looks like Constance Hatchaway on a bad day, secondly no Ursala costume is as scary as any given Ursala inspired dessert XD
Porcelain dolls are creepy. Trying and failing to imitate porcelain dolls is extra creepy. But honestly, new Bo Peep is not that bad. Most of these are just funny.
When I went to Disney with my friend she loved the country bear jamboree thing so when we saw them walking around she was so excited but I had never been more traumatized in my life omg those bears are terrifying
I got to meet Wendell, as well as Big Al, out and about in Frontierland at WDW in 2018. They were both super friendly and appreciative of my love of CBJ.
Yes! Where are they! Phineas and Ferb aren't rare characters at the parks, but the live action verison of them along with other characters from the show for that stage musical are creepy.
the new Zombie Captain America character is giving me (probably futile) hope to possibly see the Horned King visit the parks someday sadly even with a rotting character being received well, the odds of that are pretty slim. But an obscure villain fan can dream. I'd also love to see Ratigan make a return one of these Halloweens. He actually had a costume in the past to promote the movie, but it was retired for being "too scary"
I'm glad that they redesigned the Toy Story characters once again, at least Buzz, Woody and Jessie. I think Bo was too? I'm really glad they've made it to the US parks. The proportions and expressions on the previous ones were all a little creepy.
Dang! Zombie Cap looks as good as what Universal does for Halloween Horror Nights! 👌🏻 I know back for their 12th year when they moved the event to the then recently opened Islands of Adventure, one of the mazes and scarezones they had was Maximum Carnage (house/maze) and Island Under Seige (scarezone) where the theme was that Spider-Man villain Carnage, along with Mephisto, Venom, The Punisher (under the dark influence of The Caretaker/Dr. Albert Caine) joined forces and managed to murder every Marvel superhero and run rampant over that section of the park... and while I don't think Universal had any scareactors dressed up as bloody, dying or dead Marvel superheroes, Zombie Captain America looks like he would've fit right in at the house that year!
Honestly I don’t think Jessica’s mask isn’t that bad. I could see where they were going with the mask character idea (Because if Jessica was a face character Disney would most likely get parent complaints).
The Disney on Ice costumes aren’t meant to be viewed up close. If they were more realistic the actors would have limited motion. Though, the fish costumes are usually pretty bad.
Disney really should consider taking notes from both their Hong Kong and Paris parks and just do a Halloween event that’s at least a more tame version of Halloween horror nights which can able to have more Marvel Zombies as well as have even an Alien scare maze
i think that the zombie captain America is the most escary for the kids becose they're seeing his hero zombie so if i was a kid an i see that in person i will wet my pants
To be fair regarding Jessica Rabbit, I think the reason she was done as a costume instead of a face character is that she's specifically meant to be a cartoon character, not human (that's a pretty major plot point in the story, from what I gather), so having her as a face character wouldn't really make sense. Even if the costume is kind of uncanny.
Oh god… Zombie Captain America. I’m not even a Marvel fan and that’s upsetting. My only Marvel IPs are Howard the Duck and WandaVision. If I EVER saw zombie Vision or zombie Howard, I would start weeping on the spot.
I believe for jessica they could go full on with a model without a mask like they doing with the princesses as a whole. What was their problem in the end?! They were not that proud of that girl's face,or they couldn't afford a gorgeous model to make this appearance? The thing i know is that companies like disney trying to be cheap some times in the worst ways possible! Also zombie cap is awesome loved him!
The Disney Dreamers Everywhere was a private event held for a select group of guests/fans invited by an Arabian Prince who regularly visits Disneyland Paris.

Agreed. 😊😊
I definitely don’t have this phobia, but these costumes are super funny to look at
Having the phobia is completely different than thinking they're funny
dude this is terryfing for me
I agree with u on that
I actually think Jessica's design looks amazing! Given how disproportionate her cartoon body is, they really made her come together! I'm also an absolute sucker for anything Roger Rabbit so it's nice to see them give these characters some love.
My favorite one is the Zombie Captain America!

I can’t talk I’m afraid of dolls period
Halloween must be a nightmare for you and I feel really bad for you
i once hide behind my dad from someone wearing a mickey mouse costum i was 12 i also have masklophobia its hell to be in it
I am terrified to death of costumed characters they scare me to death
I can get behind the Rockstar scar outfit. It makes sense given his regal punk attitude in the movie.
He's just going through a rebellious phase
The costumes from the ice skating shows are the most terrifying! I’ve seen other videos of costume evolutions, and they can never get characters right for the ice shows.
The reason why the costumes for the ice shows are tricky is similar to a stage show, it has to be read well in a very large space
Zombie cap is definitely my favorite. The work that went into that costume is ridiculous
Love to see a redesign for Woody and Buzz. I think both look very off and outdated. Especially compared to the Bo-Peep redesign which is more accurate to the TS4's depiction

Yeah they look more like urcula and jake gyllenhaal
i'm all for zombie cap, that's actually so cool
I still can't believe that Disney put zombie cap in it.🤯🤯
Seems to me he's going to be the biggest draw for What if...? merchandising. He's already got a Lego figure.
yeahhh I was shocked as hell when I saw the footage because the marvel zombies is so niche but so damn cool
I’ve seen wendle at Disney world and I kind of love it! It’s goofy to me and makes me smile. But it definitely depends on who is playing him.
I saw Wendell at California Adventure, near Grizzly River Run, just a couple weeks ago. He was terrifying - and, carrying a fish 😂
I'd love to be in a room with any of the Disney animatronics, I have respect for all of them, and I'd have so many questions for the mechanics.
Same. I’d love nothing more than to just get up close to the animatronics and just have a close look at them. They’re incredible
Scariest character I’ve ever met was Rafiki from The Lion King. I'm surprised that Sora wasn't on here. He's had two? appearances but he's horrifying
I’m forever waiting for any coverage on Lotso. I would give anything to hug him
He better smell like strawberries.
Dude, Zombie Cap looks awesome!! Probably my fav out of all of these
Zombie Cap kinda moved like an animatronic. So freaky! 😮
The scar on ice was legit on point and the best version they have presented. And all of the Hades weren’t actually that bad!! The rest however scared the hell outta me!
I like the ice skating Scar, the only one I find eerie is the zombie Captain
That Zombie Cap looks freaking incredible.
That Stromboli one is literally the most terrifying costuming Ive ever seen! The eyes!!!
I’d honestly like to see all the times Ursula has been seen in different forms at Disney she is my fav. Maybe do an all villains ?
The guy playing Zombie Cap has to be a former haunt actor. I'm a haunt actress and I can just tell
I’d seen WDW’s ToonTown Stromboli in person I think as a kid. He was leaving, so I couldn’t go up to him but I was still happy to see him. It’s hard to be a Disney character and not have me like you.
What about the original Captain Hook mask?
Zombie Captain America is my Favorite
That Lampwick costume honestly looked like an evil leprechaun!
I hope the zombified Avengers is well received so they could add more next year.
I absolutely love Zombie Cap!! Bo Peep reminded me of the 80s Halloween costumes with the plastic masks and plastic aprons you wore, lol.
Can we take a moment to appreciate the actor behind the Zombie Captain America? They're all great, but he's something else. If he started running towards me, I might actually believe that the zombie apocalypse happened.
Bo Peep doesn’t look terrifying to me. I think she looks cute.

I thought Disney wasn't aloud to use Roger Rabbit because of ownership fights with Steve Spellberg??? How did Disneyland Paris get to use him?🤔🤔🤔
Copyrights can be different in different parts of the world. They had to change Moana’s name in Europe for this reason.
