Amazing video, thank you for posting this. I took away a few things. #1 The courtesy of these drivers to one another (nobody wants to be killed), #2 How the handling of these vehicles deteriorates rapidly before a pit stop, #3 how the handling greatly improves after said pit stop, and #4 The ability of these drivers to avoid 'target fixation'. The coordination of these drivers is remarkable.
Man that sucks!! I watched this whole race, which was really cool, but I wish I could have seen the finish. Really amazing that there no accidents after 175 laps. I think No. 33 was there just for the ride because he was in last place for a long time. Thanks for posting. Enjoyed watching. The best part ... no commentators!!!
Can someone explain something to me I've always wondered bout ovals? Whats the difference in speed over the course of the lap? Say it's 230mph average, what's the slowest and fastest speeds they'll hit during that lap? Searched around, couldn't find any info. Looks like there's 2 fast corners and 2 slower ones here, Im guessing it's about 15mph each side of the average? So they don't drop below 215 and the top out at 245ish? Cheers for any info!
Normally the cars can make a 38-40 second lap if their car is good. On the straits they hit up to 240-5 and drop ten or fifteen mph on turn 1 and turn 3. It all depends on how the car is set up and tuned.
I use this video for sleep. The sound of engine is Very relax for me.
Me too, it's a music \0/ :)
And two years later I continue using this video for sleep.

The shifting is amazing... The gear ratio is very close. I love to hear that. In the V8 era, it was even better.
1:10:03. Solid control of the car. It almost escaped.
Apparently, 1 of the 13,153 views is Fernando Alonso, studying.
I was about to say just that :D
Now is 28.901 Alonso come back so much but don't learn. Hahaha

this is music to the ears
O som do motor é algo inexplicável!
Racing capital of the world!!!!
You can tell they set the car up to run in clean air. In traffic - he was struggling - big push and running out of gear in the draft.
Tyler Coogan Yes, the setup looks to be very sensitive as sometimes the oposite happens.
Man, it has to be so frustrating to get a good run and have the car push that much on corner exit before the straight.

Your range is pretty accurate from what I've heard/seen over the decades I've been an Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar fan.
Cheers!

Top!!! Como conseguiu esse vídeo da câmera onboard?
at almost 200 Miles per hour he can actually take one hand off the wheel and turn whatever knobs he has to on the wheel, the car is that Steady...
1:08:15 whats that sound??? Not a limiter right??
I think it is the limiter, he started on pole soo he had a low gear ratio.
Where did you find it? My IndyCar App is unavailable for my version.
