Chevy Transmission Slipping - 6L90E Removal

- After less than 1000 miles since we bought this truck at auction, the transmission started slipping. Let's see if we can get it out so we can diagnose it.

Pretty much all brands of vehicles if not maintained properly would end up in the garage or Crusher.
But anymore newer vehicles coming out of the line are destined for the crusher with all the Plastics and unserviceable parts and ridiculous amount of sensors and high-end expensive equipment just to get it diagnosed and to Source new parts are very expensive on some make some models. used it's practically unattainable
Used to be remufacture meant just like a new one and rebuilt meant that they only replace what looks bad.
The 6L80's and 6L90's are very easy to rebuild and the only thing you really need is the big retaining ring pliers (like the size of hedge trimmers). Don't take it anywhere because there isn't anything wrong with it just something small if there is anything at all. There are so many overexaggerated claims but if you open it up you are going to find nothing wrong most likely and even the clutches will probably look fine. As long as there were no obviously wrong things done to it (ran without fluid, overheated, etc.) it will be fine.

Should’ve changed oil first (not flushed) and then see what’s up and dismantle the transmission IF it won’t help
why not convert to manual?
