Are we able to extend Central licenses for a device? Say I have 2 years remaining on a 5 year license, can I purchase a 3 year license to increase the license term back to 5 years?

Hi Sterling, at the moment you have to order new licenses when they expire. The license term starts when you purchase it so it's best to buy a new batch of licenses just before your current batch is about to expire and activate them. Central will then automatically switch over to the new ones as soon as the old batch expires.

Do we have a limit on the number of access point needed?

Same limits apply as before, up to 128 APs per cluster, this will be increased to 512 once AOS 10 is released, and it will also support thousands of APs per site with addition of Gateways.

You can run Aruba Instant APs in instant mode without any licenses. If you would like to manage them in Central (cloud management portal) you will need to purchase the appropriate subscriptions as per the video.
