After looking at the XSTO, Elster, Trove Swift, and the Allett ID wallets I decided to go with the Allett. Thank you for the great videos. I went with this because it is the most conventional slim wallet I liked.
They make fantastic wallets! Been using a leather original hard for over six years and it finally needed repair. Other wallets have failed much, much sooner with my duty-cycle.
I would like to say thanks to you for reviewing so many wallets. Based on researching your videos, including this and the video with allett original, I finally bought this one with leather option few months ago. After few months of use, I would say this wallet is the best one I have ever had even compared to the ones which is much more expensive than this. Carrying so many things with me while still remain very thin is very impressive.

Hi there. I have the same Allett ID wallet (in nylon) since Oct 2019 ( but discovered your channel this week ) :) . I like the wallet, it is thin (three credit cards, photo ID, auto, library & health insurance cards etc.) no leather, made in US, (bought three more in Jan 2020 just in case they move production out of the US ), and as of Oct/Nov 2021, all of my credit cards are laser-etched, not embossed. As someone else mentioned, the two card pockets on the left side have a rubber gripper; to prevent cards from falling out, but makes it a struggle to pull out a card. So whenever, I received a new printed plastic or laminated membership card I also get a blank card 'this card intentionally left blank' (suppose to be two printed cards, one for each spouse, etc.; but I'm on an individual plan from the rest of family ) So I use the 'blank card' behind the rubber grip and in front of a laser etched card, to pull the needed card out. Really like your channel and will view more videos. Thank you.
Highly HIGHLY recommend this wallet. Just got mine from Amazon. My goal was something that would be as sleek as possible. I've had it a couple days and even in thin house shorts I forget it's in my pocket. Thanks so much for this video! 10/10 would recommend and buy again.
Purchased this wallet due to your review, been using it for about a month. Very slim indeed. One thing I noted is the rubber stopper to hold the cards makes it a little difficult to pull cards out unless you push on the material to give way for the cards.. aside from that it's a great wallet! Would you review the micro wallet from SFbags I saw your review on their finn access and it looks great but just curious of how the other material is (the nylon/waxed canvas)? Thank you!
Not quite sure, but I just got in their leather sport and leather original wallet yesterday. So I'll be doing a review on them. My initial impressions are favorable, it's a very thin cut of Nappa leather which looks and feels good with their traditional nylon on the interior, still maintaining their hidden seam design which keeps their wallets super thin, but high capacity. They also feel more substantial due to the leather than their nylon wallets.
A channel for WALLETS?? Ohhh-kay. But I guess it's important; I'm here! I suspect I won't find any bad reviews here - as is usually the case with RUclips reviewers. Anyway, ALL slim wallets are overly priced. And yes, MOST fabric wallets ARE as thin as this item. Good racket.
Welcome Bob! We buy all the wallets we review and you will find bad reviews. Nobody pays me so what you see is how I review it. Regarding the Allett, the material they use and the design of no overlapping seams gives it the thinness. But yes, fabric will be thinner, but then again, the thin cut of the Bellroy wallets give them a run. I’m still a bit skeptical on the longevity of the Bellroy cut leather as it has mixed performance from owners.
Besides the fact that it's not cheap material (it's a specialized nylon), it's also 100% made in the USA, which all adds to the cost. If this were made in China you might be able to knock $8-10 off the price
Besides Tyvek type wallets, have you found anything thinner?

How is 30$ fair for such a wallet !? Its made of cheap materials, this should not cost more than 10$
