How to Cook a Tri Tip on the Weber Kettle

  • In this easy cooking video, I cook a beef tri tip roast on my Weber Kettle charcoal grill. First, I trimmed off the excess fat, and then seasoned the tri tip with kosher salt and Johnny's Seasoned Pepper. Then I cooked it indirectly on a 300-325 degree F grill, until the internal temperature of the meat reached about 130 degrees F. Finally, I seared the beef for a minute or two on each side until it had had a nice color to it.

    That reverse sear seems to be the way to grill steak. That tri tip looks delicious! And Annie approved! Nice cook Tim!

    ...Looks absolutely delicious Jim...Haven't seen any tri-tip down here in Florida though...I'd cook it indirect to about 115 F then I' d sear it...I like 'em really RARE ! ! !...LOL...Another great job buddy...

    7:10 As you know, house flies like to live off a liquid diet. Because of this, their digestive system can move quite quickly, which means they defecate often. It is speculated that house flies defecate every time they land, even if it's on their next meal

      we're at 10.98/lb and that's if you could even find it in philly. This is the first time I found tri tip in the last 7 years. and I was actively looking!

      We're in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and can't get tri tip. We order tritip from Butcher Box. It arrives at our front door by FedEx.
