I wonder if Disney still has their old tape duplication equipment sitting in storage somewhere. If they still have it, they could make new VHS releases of their modern films. I'll bet those would sell for like $30 at stores like Hot Topic and The Exchange.
That would be amazing! But I'm guessing that they purchased the VHS's from a company that sold them as blank to businesses before they were filled with printed film. Those businesses are probably gone along with the machines that made those VHS tapes. BUT you never know! Thank you so much for watching!
Sixty Formula If you turn up the volume all the way on your TV, you’ll hear a phone dialing sound at the very beginning of those Disney VHS tapes. That sound is because Disney had a machine that printed the film repeatedly onto a long strand of tape. And then they had factory robots that would cut the tape every time they analyzed that special code (which sounds like a touch-tone phone dialing)... so they obviously loaded their own tapes. If they bought the tapes from a company, they would have had white screens of death at the end. Those white screens are there so that they don’t need to leave unused/unprocessed tape in the cassettes

@@spikecomix6396Yes, Disney tapes have white noise at the end, if I remember correctly. Or maybe it depends on the tape.
i was born in 92 so we still had to live through vhs i remember still watching many of those movies on my standard definition tv watching this brought back so many memories of watching these back in the day way before we had internet or at least internet that was available to everyone at the time its sad to see that people dont really make vhs tapes

I used to have almost all the disney tapes you had when I was little!
2 Snow Whites, 2 Lion Kings, Bambi, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Great Mouse Detective, Jungle Book, Pinocchio, The Rescuers and Aladdin. They are over 30 years old.

Hi! I really enjoyed this video and you have an awesome Disney VHS Collection! I'm just a kid and I wasn't even born in the 90's but I'm obsessed with thw 90's!!! A few months ago I really wanted to start collecting VHS Tapes so I bought a VCR at Goodwill for $9 and it was barely used! It still had the original packing stickers and everytging, it looked like new! Anyways, after I got the VCR I bought a nice CRT TV and then I started collecting VHS Tapes! :) I'm trying to collect all the Disney VHS Tapes and I have a pretty good collection so far! Its not as good as yours yet but I have some pretty good ones! Anyways, have great day! :) 📼

Insanely great collection. I love that you have multiple versions and even some I remember owning in my childhood at one point. Also, I love how amazingly mint they are - I enjoy seeing collections being taken care of and loved. To answer your request, I collect anime (tv exclusives, and movies) and manga. Although, I haven't filmed the vid yet, I am in the process of filming both collections in due time (releasing around early-July, if I'm scheduling it correctly)

I just started my collection of Disney thanks to a friend but mine is particular to DVD/Blu-Ray and they've got to have slip covers or can be the steelbook variant I.E. The Little Mermaid 30th Anniversary or Ratatouille.
Really enjoyed this, great collection my friend. Makes me want to do the same, but space is always the kicker when collecting things for me lol. Now were all of these purchased at goodwills/ garage sales? Hope to see more

My family went through all our old VHS tapes yesterday and wrote which ones we want on DVD. We had every Disney movie on VHS, but eventually we will not want to keep our VHS player, so my mom gave them all away to her friends for free. :(
Although, I kept some of my favorite princess movies, like Aladdin, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Ariel (the one with the banned cover), and Pocahontas. I also kept Peter Pan, but all the other Disney VHS tapes are getting ready to be given away.
And I also have some Disney movies and books. the books were from when my mom was little!

I’ve been collecting for 12 years now and I still do not have all the different VHS collections of Disney Films maybe they vary from where you live !
Awesome collection! There’s only one that are missing is the 20th Century Fox movies which you are adding to you Disney VHS collection, because 20th Century Fox is now owned by Disney. A lot of Fox movies are made by many home video distributors like Magnetic Video Corporation, 20th Century Fox Video, CBS/Fox Video, Fox Video and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, except Playhouse Video and Key Video.

One note, earlier printings of the Pocahontas VHS from December 1995, up to December 21, (most from December 14, 1995 or earlier) surprisingly have the 1989 Walt Disney Classics logo after the feature presentation , and later printings have the Masterpiece Collection logo, which is more common. Did you know that?
I got the black cauldron gold collection. Probably the only existing copy of that
Sometimes, the covers of VHS tapes I find have seen better days!
However, if yours are still in pristine condition, you can make a reproduction cover in Adobe Photoshop!
By the way, if I was you, I would organize them in the order of the original release years (i.e. the time when they first started being shown in theaters).

I have all of the Disney VHS tapes in my collection, especially many of them that I don't have. Did you know that all Disney VHS tapes contains Macrovision? Yep! Macrovision is a copy protection system to prevent you from copying from one tape to another. It can cause blurry picture and even highly induced seizures.

Thank you for your support, I really appreciate that you've stuck around! I've been pumping out the content lately and its good to see old faces around. I watch all of them on blu ray to be honest. I'll probably upload that collection at another time, but VHS is difficult to watch on modern tvs and they aren't as good of quality as remastered versions.

I don’t know why but my 55th Anniversary VHS copy of Bambi from 1997 is messed up at the point of the movie where Bambi’s father runs down from the trees about halfway through the movie. What happens is, Bambi’s dad starts running and right before he jumps over the stream, the screen goes blue. The last time the tape was played was probably 2011. (In a VCR I don’t have anymore) The first time i ever saw it happening, it was probably 2008. At that point I was 4 years old and I was scared to rewind it anywhere before where it screws up because I knew I would possibly ruin the tape or my VCR. Right now, the tape is a little past halfway. (which it has been sitting since 2011 never played) I don’t know if the tape is really damaged or something at that point or maybe it didn’t record right in the factory. I have a fully working vcr hooked up to my living room tv as well as connected to my TiVo cable box (In-case I want to record anything). To this day I don’t have the gut to put the tape in because I don’t want to ruin It. If anyone knows the cause/reasons please let me know, Thanks!

Nice collection, but what about the 20th Century Fox VHS tapes? This might be considered to be part of the Disney VHS Collection, because Disney owns 20th Century Fox. Thanks to the merger. You have the Touchstone, Hollywood Pictures, Pixar and Buena Vista VHS, I wish that the 20th Century Fox tapes is going to fit the bill. I’m sure you should see like a Magnetic Video, 20th Century Fox Video, CBS/Fox, Fox Video, and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment will fit the category as part of the Disney VHS collection.

I own over 250 opened Disney movies from 80's n 90's where do I sell?
You pay $1 each? I've got a place where I can get them for .25 cents each. Sometimes they are free because they get so overloaded on VHS tapes. I recently got a bunch of sealed Disney VHS clamshell tapes. I probably won't open them. I'm just amazed they are all still perfectly sealed after all these years.

Vhs movies last longer then your money does everything proven vhs tapes don't stop playing at all people like myself are fixing broken vhs tapes with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's
There are actually disney vhs that do sell for 300 and over. you dnt own any all of your vhs are basic thrift value.
