How do you know/decide how much you're going to change your block to achieve the look you're envisioning? Do you drape first? Do you draw what your envisioning? I would love a video of you explaining your creative process! Beyond just inspiration, which you've shown at least one time that I can remember. I'm really wondering how you knew to shorten your shoulder seam the exact amount that you did, and to square off the side seams, etc. 🙂

I notice you reduce the length of your shoulder seam, which I assume makes the armhole bigger, but you didn’t need to make any alteration to the sleevehead. Is the difference accounted for in the ease of the original block?

I really enjoy your videos. How did you make your custom pattern blocks, from which your patterns are made. Can you recommend a specific resource you have used. I struggle with fit, as I often need to do an FBA on most of my garments. Thanks again!

Fabulous. What paper do you use for patterns?

The dress is beautiful, but, I would like the skirt portion to be shorter and the frill longer. In fact the frill being even a couple of inches longer than original.
I could be talking through a hole in my head, but I think it would be swishier, though you look gorgeous in that one.
Just a thought, not a criticism.
I so love watching your pattern coming to life. Brilliant.....

When you slash the sleeve out I find it changes the sleeve head. Does this become a problem when you fit sleeve head into the top?
