Had FSD 12.3 for a week 3/15/24 many intervention free drives. Reads other drivers intentions! Had a intervention today when sharp 6 ft metal pieces that fell of 18 wheel truck I had to take over to not damage tires on my Y performance with FSDBeta 12.3. overall human level driving. I agree that mandates are a bad idea. Incentives make sense however.
@@fractalelf7760 Incentives can be argued, mainly to get the West away from CCP dependence, maybe to offset ICE fuel subsidies. The market will take care of rapid adoption all by itself.
Biden can claim credit for something he had nothing good to do with.

@@fractalelf7760 Reducing our dependence on the whims of the CCP is the best reason for incentives, plus the subsidies China provides to their industries.
Bit of a tangent but it's reckless to rely on China Rare Earth metals in particular, which they have near monopoly on largely due to lack of environmental protection costs.

2 days ago, FSD V11.4.9 ran a left turn red light. Since then, at every chance I yelled at them I need V12. Today I recieved it. 😊

When Sandy munro was being shown the CT at Texas after his Elon interview, oneof the team (I *think* Lars?)shiwed him the power module and told him it supplied 48, 24(?) 12 and 5(?) volts.

Matt, you misspoke at 2:45.
The teardown only put on RUclips by Autoline, it is actually being done by Caresoft a company specializing in tear downs of automotive products, while Munro seems to have a larger scope including more than just cars and also consulting.
I think I guessed right on the Angela Chao incident.

Is a difficult turn for me usually my Tesla M3's ability to just punch it as I make the turn ensures I'm safe.
Be curious what FSD v12.3 can do as I do not trust v11.4.9 to make that turn at night or during the day.

As a fellow Canadian I view the US political scene with trepidation. If Trump gets in the conversion to electric cars will go much slower. This will really affect the electric car makers. Scary.
Will be interesting after the election (depending on the result) to see if the Sharpie makes an appearance re the 2030 targets?

I am sad for that Neuralink guinea pig guy: he is now Musk's 90s tech demo, but the same did not need drilling hole to your skull in the 90s. This also means, that this Neuralink chip will never get commercial linence as there is no provable medical benefit to the patients.
Neuralink has also IPR-issue: all the patents are owned by the employees, who have left tge company, already.

I suspect that during the call someone suggested she should "get out", she opened the driver door, but either the car wasn't level and the door jammed on the bottom, or a rock prevented it opening.

I didn’t like that comment “It’s not all 48 volts” regarding the AutoLine teardown. If you are making comments like this, specifics are needed. The implication is that Tesla misrepresented their claim that the low voltage system was entirely 48 volts. If I were a betting man, I would expect that the connections for a trailer would be 12 volts. Failing to do that, a standard trailer could not be connected without a special adapter.
Regarding FSD, this has been promised and delayed so many times that the public is suffering FSD fatigue and doesn’t fully believe anything that Tesla reports relating to it reaching an acceptable version. The problem with calling “wolf” too many times is a lack of recognition when the real “wolf” suddenly appears. I expect the real “wolf”. Is much closer that most folks can imagine.
I’d imagine that they weren’t able to source all necessary components in 48v - a situation they’d probably seek to change as production ramps and the next generation model comes out.

If you're connecting to items with 12v, you need a 12v feed.

Why should I buy FSD for my 2023 Y when Autopilot is so bad? 2 serious interventions today on a 4 mi suburban drive.

@jackhutube yes but it does not have nearly the functionality of FSD. Think of it as just a next level but dumb fancy traffic aware cruise. It does no thinking like FSD.

Only a 4 year backlog (especially once they drop the “Foundation” extra $20k)
They'll be 4X the demand for gas trucks, because you'll have to buy four of them compared to just 1 Tesla.
@@johnlysic6727 that’s what Elon lies to us about. Remember the demand of Tesla was said to be infinite? 4 year backlog was when the promised range was 500+ miles priced at $60k.

Because they are being shorted by everyone. Like Blackrock and Bill Gates. Tesla is a people's car. Major funds put their money in Government Motors.

Have to question the sincerity of these TSLA bobleheads trying to keep us clicking their videos so they can just keep bringing in the $$$$. I've lost 40% of my TSLA investment, I've lost 75% of my confidence in these YT guys telling us how great things are.
Tesla is beyond dangerous since that crash and killed a person who couldn't take manual control over. Tesla is only popular because people think Elon musk, which is a name of a cheap cologne, is superstars. He's not. He's super greedy and immoral with kids all over. What a great person😂
