This game is hugely nostalgic to me. It's the first Bubble Bobble game I've ever played, and the only one I've completed so far. Also, the soundtrack reminds me of all the best moments back in the '90s! Was hoping you'd do it at some point, so... great job, thank you!
Bubble Bobble Part 2 is in no way the classic that the original was, but it is a fun little game as long as you weren't expecting to go at it co-op with a buddy.
This game is great! Sometimes, it has some out of place things (Some enemies/bosses, Final red Skull Bro, the final world, there is silence when Hurry Up and Skel Monsta apparition happens), but it is still fun and varied in stage design! This game even feels like I'm playing an old Disney movie.
Expensive game, not as great as the original at all, but still fun. A lot of the secrets were hidden in the first game, this one lacks a lot of the secrets and items one could acquire for bonuses, or powerups in this one (bomb, book of death, lamp that causes lightning bolts to kill enemies, etc..). Yes, have this one in the collection, a friend got it for me over a decade ago.
I have a copy of it too, with a nice box and manual. I figure it'll be a good contribution to the retirement fund if I hold onto it for another twenty years lol.
That ability to inflate yourself and float upwards would have been really useful in the first Bubble Bobble. I can already think of several levels that would have been way easier to deal with. *Cough57Cough*
If you're wondering why the music doesn't last in later stages, it's because there is a sliding difficulty that reduces the time before the ghost appears. So, the better you are without dying, the shorter amount the time you have before the ghost shows up. Getting a Game Over resets that adjustment. (Get those pencils! They're continues!)
Actually this sequel is really great i was searching for it for along time and they have it on a multi game for the ds it’s all Nintendo classics there is a total of 150 classic nes games it was the first time I played since way back in the 90s now i seen it also for sale it’s highly very expensive so definitely bubble bobble nes 1 and 2 are expensive i bought the nes classic multi cart for like between $20 or $30 that was a great price deal compared to the nes cart such amazing game.
Not trying to be "that guy" but you didnt have an original BB cab because BB never had a dedicated arcade machine. It was likely just a jamma cab with a BB board in it.
Can I ask you how did you get an arcade cabinet of the game when you were in High School? lol No seriously, I am pretty curious. Also about this game I think is good, a shame that it is other of these 300$ NES games that only the most passional collectors will get. (I am still considering if save and buy Contra Force and its 300$ CIB tag)
Contra Force it's awesome. Its got some major issues, but I love it still. Enough that I have both a really nice copy (looks brand new in the box with all the inserts) to have in the collection and a ratty cart to actually play :) its probably overkill, but oh well. I really enjoy playing it. If you really want to spend money on a *really good* nes game, gunnac is absolutely incredible. Pricey, but it's one of those few games where the game might actually be worth spending the money on.
Wow, nice, dude! Good to know there are plenty of remaining fans of Bubble Bobble. I played this one quite a bit when I was younger. I remember the music just as well as the original theme!
Is this game extremely rare cause I can see people in the chat be like SUPER RARE can please anyone tell if it's really rare or not cause I got it already on my console lol I don't know it's rare cause I am not a 90's kid
Wait is there are ghost character in this game I did not pause my game and just went somewhere when I came back I saw a white smiling cloud looking thing lol it looked like a skull it chased me
It came out late in the NES life cycle, so fewer copies were printed for sales distribution (there's a myth that this was a Blockbuster exclusive, that is a huge lie). Copies that are out there are plentiful, but are very, very expensive. Even the manual can run you over $100.
@@triangleguard2154 The ghost character is basically there to hurry you to finish a level before it touches and kills you. It was also present in Bubble Bubble and it's sequels, the exception Rainbow Islands, where the water would start to rise to drown you if you didn't keep moving. However, the last boss is a giant version of those ghost Skels that act as the games internal timers (everything in the game bonus wise is all tracked by counters, so nothing is random).

This theme for the beginning of the whole game is such an earworm! I loved it since I heard it on a retro game I had
Rare and expensive, but fun if you can find it!
My childhood nightmare finally ends
One of my fav game during childhood!
Oh good I have been searching for this game so long. I could not remember the name but I remember the gameplay. I have finally found it.
I passed up this game for like 30 bucks all the way back in 2003 because I thought that was too expensive.
Ouch lol. Oops.
I found it today for $4... had no idea it's selling for $500. Crazy!
Este juego es una obra de arte😸😸😻
I remember that intro music so well

I have no doubt that you're a big fan of Bubble Bobble, 'cause you're DAMN good at it!
Great job! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks! :)

Вот это игровой навык) Спасибо за такую хорошую вещь)
This game is more like a reboot than a sequel
juego hermoso por fin veo el final 20 años despues gracias
How about my hack: Bubble Bobble Part 2 on the Game Boy?
The beginning theme sounds like killer instinct
But, If they kidnap your girlfriend you really wanna kill that guys,
@@vpls6237 fair enough
I see some great features in BB 2 you can now float should have had that in part 1 but BB 2 is great love the music.
Oh my god, look on your character when they're inflated and the little grabby hands guy in the bonus round at 6:25 were killing me. xD
Кто написал интро к игре в самом начале игры? кто композитор? Ответьте ,пожалуйста.
I remember seeing this as a kid and being confused as to why they made bubble bobble less colorful
It has more colors than the first NES game, if anything the colors are pastel.

Bubble Bobble 1 NES can still be had for around $20, where is that expensive?
Memories Memories...
Ha ha, that intro theme sounds like a Morrissey song!
The Final Boss was way to freaky for a Bubble Bobble game. Same for Detana!! Twinbee.
I remember seeing this game at kb toys….WHY DIDN’T DADDY I BUY ITT?!

the final final boss stage is the same as the first bubble boblle
i like this game but it really looks like some nes rip-off,you know not colorful at all
anyway still a fun game
The colors are quite pastel, very few NES games were quite as colorful as this game.
